  1. Does the Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro Wifi come with Ryzen 3000 support out of the box? I checked the site but I'm still not sure. Pleease let me know
  2. True. My workload is mainly gaming and homework (excel, word, powerpoint, reasearch). My GPU is going to be a 1660 Super
  3. I can not decide between the 3300x or the ryzen 5 2600! the 3300x has better gaming performance (my main workload) but the 2600 doesn't need a BIOS update on all B450 boards and has 2 extra cores and 4 extra threads. The 3300x is $10 cheaper. Btw I am pairing it with an asrock b450m steel legend.
  4. I have heard that the WD blue sn550 is really good value as a budget nvme ssd
  5. That build does seem better than my tweaked one but the b450m pro4 only supports 2933 speed for ram
  6. Yeah I was a little bit sceptical for the psu. Thanks for the feedback

  8. Or it could be because of your motherboard RAM speed limit
  9. I think you should get the new 2020 nitro 5 with the ryzen 5
  10. Budget (including currency): $1900 AUD Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: star wars jedi, valorant, light photo and video editing, csgo, tomb raider, productivity, media use and some more gaming. I was going for 1500 but i won a $400 cash prize so moved it up to 1900. are my PC specs ok? https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/HpLQHB
  11. I am pretty sure the gtx 1650 super out preforms the rx580 most of the time
  12. I did drop the fans and the rx 580 is the same price
  13. So do u you think i should go for a gtx 1650 super? Because with that I would only have to go over 30 bucks over budget with the ryzen 5 3600
  14. Yeah definitely. the ryzen 5 3600 is faster and cheaper and has a newer manufacturing layout (7nm vs 14nm)
  15. Nah I am going with six cores definitely and i don't think the 3300x will be able to deliver everything
  16. Well you say I really cant go over $1500 and I think that this delivers good value as it is 75hz and has an IPS panel. also according to PC Part Picker my estimated wattage is 229W. I really don't need anything fancy for my monitor. I mean I am upgrading from a 9 year old monitor, so it really can not get any worse!
  17. Yeah Ryzen is way better for value in that market. If your mainly going to be gaming I recommend 2x 8 gb sticks because for gaming 16GB is usually the way to go and you should DEFINITELY at least get dual channel memory.

  19. I am debating whether to buy a Corsair spec-05 and an MSI Mag force 100r. the corsair spec o5 has an acrylic panel and msi uses the tempered glass side panel. So which one should I get? I have been leaning towards the corsair one as my PC is gonna have corsair ram, psu, fan and headset. I know it doesnt really matter but it sort of reassures me and it would be cool to have mainly corsair stuff. btw the msi case is $15 AUD more expensive than the corsair case
