  1. I would like the 3970x for faster video encoding, also I really don’t want to wait, and yes I know I probably don’t need hardware this good but I have saved up for a long time and don’t want to wait any longer, I can sell my 2080 ti after the 3080 ti comes out and then upgrade, I would like to make use of the money I saved up so I don’t want to spend less.
  2. Budget (including currency): 5000 usd Country: usa Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: premiere pro 4K editing, streaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have peripherals. I want to play at 4K 120 FPS, I’m upgrading from: i7-6700k, gtx 980 ti sli, windows 10 pro, and 32 gb ddr4 3000mhz this will be my upgraded pc, I get a new one after about 5 years or so. 3. It will play YouTube videos and stuff but nothing more
  4. The rgb should probably just work out of the box, try uninstalling the software and just reinstalling it physically.
  5. Try taking the cooler off and replacing the thermal paste, idk how to do it but it may work, there’s videos on how to do it. Also are the fans spinning under load?
  6. Try DDU and reinstall your drivers edit: sorry I didn’t read. another edit: it may be a psu issue, I think rosewill power supplies may be less reliable, if you have another psu on hand try switching it out
  7. They will be more expensive tho. edit: sorry I’m dumb, I didnt realize my posts were going to the second page so I posted the same thing 3 times
  8. But they will probably be more expensive
  9. But they’re probably gonna be more expensive
  10. Yeah that’s why I’m buying a 2070 super, read everything before posting please.
  11. Ok I’m wondering if the “120 hz” Vs if it was just 60hz then what difference will I see? edit: there’s a “game low latency” option in my tv and it disables the ability to turn on film mode
  12. In the original post I mentioned that I want ray tracing, not just raw performance
  13. If my tv has fake 120hz then is there a way to just turn it off and make it a regular 60hz tv?
  14. On the box it says 120hz but again idk if it uses special techniques to fake higher refresh rates.
  15. To me, 90fps is still pretty good But as he said I would need a newer model of the tv I have to get true 120hz
