  1. So if you've never used docking mode nor Quick Charge with with Note 9. I wonder who has?
  2. Just a guest off the top of my head. Is this a gaming laptop? If so maybe see if there's an XMP profile enabled? Is the BIOS able to see all of the ram?
  3. Sorry but I think you're mistaken. The note 9 support Quick Charge 2.0 which I believe is 9V at 2 plus amps. Adapters with power delivery do not show Quick Charge ratings even though they supported for various laptops. The only rating that they give is 60 watts of charging power. So my question is have anybody with the note 9 tested this before I start testing myself. And more closely if I cannot get Quick Charge through the adapter is this a limitation of the note 9? As you should know device is rated with Quick Charge can use USB C universally relatively. I can charge my note 9 with quick charge with a laptop power brick with no problem.
  4. There are USB C to HDMI adapter that you can use with the note 9 to go into Dex mode. They also make USB C to HDMI adapter that also have power delivery in that will charge your phone while you are using Dex mode. I currently have an adapter that does this but it charges slowly. Possibly Max 1 amp at 5 volts. Therefore I can't really play video unless I wanted to stay at the same percentage but if I'm just letting the phone sit looking at a web page it charges very slowly. I am trying to enable Quick Charge over this sad adapter. Is there an adapter that supports this or is this a limitation of the note 9 not allowing you to use Quick Charge while using HDMI mode?
  5. Does anybody know of a USB C to HDMI with power delivery that can support quick charging for the note 9? Or is this a limitation the note 9 not accepting Quick Charge?
  6. Who has actually had a Samsung SSD die on them??????? My 128GB Samsung SSD is still kicking strong! I don't use it in my primary machine anymore I put it in my workroom PC. BUT damn. Paid $120 at Micro Center back then.haha To hell with the write life right?
  7. @Zando Bob good news. Seems like everything is working. It did fight with me at first and finally when it recognized the other monitor the laptop ramped up at full speed so possibly was installing monitor drivers? But he's been able to sit down for a second day and plug right in with the USB C cable without issue. Hoping this last indefinitely so I can button up everything at the end of the week for his setup. Apple's customer service is terrible for recommending solutions for their own products or you just want to get any recommendations at all. Solve all your issues make your own branded docking station plus you get to make all those sweet bucks in accessories that you already do.Still definitely will be posting pictures at the end of the week. Thank you so much man.
  8. Hmm gotcha. Thank you sir! I ordered the items today I hope this works!! Ill be sure to post pics...if this works lol
  9. Ok. Are you able to provide me a link to the apple adapter you used? Im not seeing a apple TB to HDMI adapter.
  10. Well I know where I can get the doc from. But I believe you said the BENFEI adapter uses Thunderbolt over DisplayPort correct?
  11. I feel like I heard your name on one of Linuses videos or live feeds
  12. I got a little over overexcited just now. Dude your heavenly. Going to look up these accessories right now. I see you're using a benify adapter what's the link to that on Amazon? They make pretty good cables I trust them for a slightly sketchy Amazon Chinese brand. Anyway, can you send me some good references. I'm going to have to return his current dock that I recommended back so shameful LOL
  13. but it seems like TB does not convert to displayport or hdmi to output a basic video feed(because Apple BS). every example I see is a macbook connect to one basic display and the other is a apple display. Im hoping someone with 2 screens, PD and ethernet can confirm.
  14. I need help finding a docking station for a 16 inch 2019 Apple MacBook Pro that support power delivery, ethernet and 2x 2560x1440p screens. We bought a Belkin thunderbolt 3 docking station that supports 2 monitors. they both were working fine for a week and now one wont connect but we can see it in the control panel. Also come to find out that others were having the same issue with this station. I called Apple and they can not recommend any either WTF. Help would be much appreciated. I work in IT and I have to deal with lawyers
  15. ok something new when click through random things on nvidia control panel it flickers to nice correct resolution then back to fuzyness???????

  17. 4k is there but still looks fuzzy when applied
  18. used gpu just brought, both tvs work correctly still without passive DP to hdmi, tried another adapter same problem
  19. separate cable, new drivers
  20. I have a 1080Ti and I have two screens hooked up. Both are 4k tvs that when hooked up individually they both can display a 4k resolution. When I hook therm up together they only want to display a 1080p signal. I have a passive displayport to hdmi adapter on one and the other is straight hdmi. What going on?
