Yeah it’s free. Linus recommended on last weeks WAN Show, thought I should make it known.

If you have an hdmi on your laptop, you should be able to get 120 FPS at 1080p. I run a rog zephyrus laptop with a 144hz monitor, and I can run it at full refresh rate and resolution. My laptop has an hdmi 2.0 port on, which is the only reason I can get 144hz.

If you plan on gaming, I’d go for the Asus as long as your computer can handle it. If you plan on watching movies or anything on it, I’d go for the LG. Still good for gaming, although I honestly feel that 24” is the sweet spot for gaming; sitting closer to the screen draws me into the moment more lol. I also don’t have a lot of money, so saving $80 would be able to get me a 512 gb nvme or something else helpful. And I’m sure other people are posting monitors that they would recommend, so check them out too.

Someone in my area is selling a 144hz monitor with a cracked display for $35. Where could I get a replacement display? I can’t find anything on eBay
