thinking of "downgrading" to the EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Super SC Ultra, save like 80 dollars and seems like a capable graphics card for my potential uses

Thanks, this is a tough part of the build for me as i really dont game on PC now, but want to be capable should that change in the future. Recommend anything else in that price range? Its hard to justify spending much more than 300 on the GPU, but i do want to be future proof to an extent, and definitely dont want something with issues.

Unfortunately the only PSU i seem to find available around that wattage is the ROG-STRIX-550G Asus unit ( fully modular , 80+ gold) for $129, I could also get a higher wattage corsair RM750X for $160 though

went into a bit more detail in post, but primarily being used as a work computer that I would like to be able to game on a bit.

Budget (including currency): 1400 Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Used primariliy for work, 2-3 monitor many browser tabs with some applications . definitely an option, can save about $30 going with the MSI B450 and good wifi card. rather than the 570 with wifi

hey thanks, this looks very close to what i am now thinking, unfortunately a few parts unavailable or crazy overpriced at the moment though ( power supply and mobo seem tough)

True, I did not bother to select motherboard yet as I was still on the fence about which CPU would be best, i just wanted to set up a basic list to hopefully get started in the right direction, i do think based on everyones responses so far I think i would be better off going with a slightly better CPU. I also wanted to ensure the system has good WiFi so that was a factor for selecting motherboard as well ( or purchasing separately if necessary )

I am not doing much video editing, i mostly do tons of browser tabs as well as multiple applications running across 2-3 monitors. Lots of information being constantly updated i need to pull real time. Really appreciate your input!
