  4. Sorry if this isn't the correct place, I recently bodged together a desktop for my younger brother and I set it up at mine on my monitor and it was perfect. He has taken it home and for some reason cannot get the scaling to be right he's tried every resolution but every window is much too large, desktop apps etc. I am stuck!

  6. Not entirely sure if there a thread for this type of thing so i posted here in troubleshoot. I have encountered a bug i have never seen before. been using my pc as normal all of a sudden i cant use my task bar properly. dug a little deeper turns out none of my windows apps are working 100% right. If im in settings and try to click something its like the computers pressing tab on repeat if that makes sense. ive looked everywhere no one seems to have the same issue. its not the worst bug ever but it sure is annoying. i managed tyo get task bar working by re installing some sort of language bar but didnt fix the highlighting issue. i will post a video of what i mean any insight would be great thank you bandicam 2023-02-17 17-26-15-779.mp4

  8. My mums asked me to fix her old laptop, it’s a Sony vaio model pcg 7131M, but I’m not too sure what’s actually wrong, the screen has weird lines on it but only on the vaio screen not on the boot screen part. and it says I need to either start windows normally or repair , when I click repair it tried to repair the disk but it must of failed because I went away and come back it turned off I turned it back on to get the same screen. My question is should I replace the hard drive or motherboard? Neither is going to be expensive jus want to know where to start.
