    This isn't anything to be worried about.
     
    Basically, the more RAM you have, the more RAM your operating system can use for things like caching and other optimizations, especially when you're not actively using all of that RAM. If you removed half your RAM, you'd probably find that the RAM usage would be lower. Modern operating systems have been doing this for years.
