Hello, I recently set up a SharePoint server it works well for computers connected to the domain however when I try to access the site (not the central administration site the sites created for projects) I am unable to do so, this is most likely an issue with how I am trying to do it so some advice would be highly appreciated. Info: -server: Windows server 2012 standard -SharePoint 2013 -SQL server 2012 While I know it is not good practice this is all running on the domain controller (we have a one server environment). What I am doing: application management>create site collection -I then choose my settings and use /sites/"name" and enter a user and secondary >OK my problem is that I don't know how to access the site after it is created, even on the local domain I can't just click on the provided link i have to go through a process that seems to change every time. How to I access the site? One more thing: we have DyDNS setup at "example.test.com" and the site creator give the link as "domain/site/test" Thanks!

Hello I have a galaxy s3 which is rooted to run cyanogenMod, I am also in a film class, and I was looking to improve the audio quality in my films with Lapel Microphones. I order Neewer lapel Mics from amazon (not expecting much as they were around $5 for three. Anyways they came and the work fine on my computer but on my android phone (I was planning on plugging them into the phone in my pocket) they dont work at all. Upon further inspection I realized that they are TRS not TRRS. Is their anyway I can still use them (if not they were $5 so Meh)

new info, the windows installer is not in system 32 in my main drive, I dont know if this is supposed to be this way, but I think it should be their according to this article

sadly that did not work I ended up with a blank blue screen and cursor, but no other functionality

Hello. I Installed Windows 7 Ultimate to my computer a few months ago, and make regular backups to a WHS 2011. I had to restore from a back up once. However I noticed a few days ago that some parts of windows appear to have some elements on two drives (a Samsung 840 appears to be were the main part of windows is installed to, however their is some stuff such as my desktop that are on an OCZ Agility 3.) I think this might be related to my issue, that is when I try to install a windows installer package I get an error that the windows installer cannot be accessed. I have tried to unregister and register the service. I have made sure that it is activated in Services. I have also tried an SFC scan and and it does not identify any issues. Does anyone know How I can fix this? Thank you!

Hello, I have a nexus 10 tablet, with the latest 4.2.2 update. When I first got the tablet (a few days ago) the you tube app had the new design for 10" tablets, however after watching a few videos the design reverted to the older look (the one that is used on android and iOS phones currently). I have tried uninstalling updates and re-installing them, nothing seams to work. Does anyone know how I can fix this? thank you!

Forgive me Gecko however I do not feel comfortable allowing access to the server to people that I do not know well, as I have sensitive information, also no graphics so team viewer wouldn't work (though I love team viewer)

Hello I recently built a windows home server machine, and it was working great, I looked up a tutorial on how to set up a VPN on the server, I followed the steps, and it did not work (neither my windows 7 machine, windows 8, or Mac OSX machines could connect), so I un-setup that and installed hamachi, then that did not work well, so I re set up the VPN thinking I did something wrong the first time, however when I finished the setup it kicked me off remote access. I can now only access the server within the first 3 minutes after boot up, and then it stops working. The only thing that works is logging in through the web access. (servername.homeserver.com), I cannot get to remote desktop, the dashboard, or the shared folders. WHS 2011 ad-dins: Stable bit Drive-pool advance admin console Wake on Lan Applications installed: air video android clone of this, cannot remember the name and cannot get to server to check -I uninstalled hamachie -I uninstalled air video -I uninstalled the android clone -I uninstalled apple bonjoure any ideas on how to fix this issue? thank you

(the budget is in fact $1000, and I am at about $920, so cut backs would still be greatly appreciated, especially if they could also add more storage?) I am new to raid (for the last few years I have used a system with 5 drives, all different volumes, so a good raid card recombination would be greatly appreciated, I have looked around on the interwebs and found this one HighPoint RocketRaid 2720SGL However it is not available at my local computer parts store, and as mentioned previously I don't have time to wait for a shipment. One final thing, I know a RAID card would be better but would the integrated RAID Controller work well enough that I could ditch the RAID card and use the reaming budget to add more storage Thank You!
