  1. This card actually comes with a free RTX game too which is cool.
  2. https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Graphics-Card/GV-N207SGAMING-OC-8GC#kf This one is great, but it looks like it is out of stock or overly priced at places. The next best one I can find is this one which is also great. https://www.newegg.com/evga-geforce-rtx-2070-super-08g-p4-3071-kr/p/N82E16814487456?Description=2070 super&cm_re=2070_super-_-14-487-456-_-Product I personally have a 2060 version of this card and it is great!
  3. 100% agree. You should have no problems with bottle necking either.

  5. I have heard great things about that case sounds like a good deal. I would go with @AldiPrayogi 's list and add the RAM i had in my list, but if you need to cut some corners do it on the storage and powersupply modularity (not the rating or wattage).
  6. This list is good too. It will get you better performance on your RTX games. However I would invest into some 3600 speed RAM because Ryzen CPUs really benefit from the extra speed. If that adds too much to the budget, then you can probably cut the Hard drive capacity in half and/or downgrade your power supply to a semi or nonmodular one at the same wattage. This has no effect on performance whatsoever, it is just that a fully modular powersupply makes everything look nicer. You can always just stuff the cables in a hidden place.
  7. Also note that the case I chose was just a place holder and should probably be changed due to the front USB will probably not be usable because the motherboard does not support it. if you need help finding another case do @Its N8 M8 and let me know.

I suggest you do some research once they come out). Most likely this b450 will be fine anyway. Other places that can be changed is the power supply if you feel like it. This one has PLENTY of power for what you need, fully modular, and 80+ gold rated meaning it is very efficient and won't drive up your electric bill. Cases are generally up to preference and do not matter as much. As long as the case is not suffocating your PC it is fine. If you do plan on overclocking your PC (which I don't recommend if it is your first gaming PC) you will need to buy a better CPU cooler, but the stock one that comes with the CPU is great with stock speeds. I recommenced you load the OS and any games you play often on to the SSD because load times will be much faster on them (That will help with RD2 and GTA). Some parts may be hard to come by in a pandemic like this so keep your eye out if they are in stock. You can always use any extra money you have on a better PC case or storage. (Or RGB if you want it). The RTX card I put on here will be able to run some RTX games, but keep in mind they will likely tank performance from like 150fps to 30-50fps. This machine will be great with GTA and RD2 and should run them smoothly.
  9. @TofuHaroto at this point I think I am just going to wait for whichever happens first. TUF board comes back in stock, or June 16 for b550.
  10. That looks like a really good board. If they do not come back in stock anytime soon are there any other boards?
  11. For the longest time I have been waiting for b550 boards to come out and after hearing the prices of some I had my eye on (like the MSI B550 Tomahawk) it made me think if I should just get a X570 board. A tomahawk would cost around $179. So at this point I'm done waiting and It will end up costing less too. Any ideas on the best X570 boards under $200. (I know there is not alot). Specs so far: EVGA RTX 2060 KO ULTRA Ryzen 5 3600 16GB DDR4 3600 RAM M.2 NVME SSD that could use PCIE 4.0 Overclocking (of course) Looking to upgrade in future
  12. I'm looking for a 1TB SSD around $100-$130. I don't really know whether to go with SATA or NVME. I found some nice looking NVME drives for the price, but I'm not sure they are reliable enough. Can I get some help on some good drives? I already have a HDD btw. I only need SSDs. Edit: I will be mostly gaming on this with some other work, but mostly gaming.
  13. Yeah that is why I'm buying now, just in case they don't get back into supply when I want to build. Do you have an idea on what a 550w PSU can run. The current setup I have on pcpartpicker is a RTX 2060 and Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB 3600 RAM along with a hard drive and SSD. How much would a 550w PSU allow me to upgrade?
  14. I'm looking for a power supply right now because I'm thinking of building my PC a month from now and PSUs are on short supply. I'm looking for around a 650watt and I found one, but the 750 watt is $5 cheaper. Is there a reason why? Should I get the 750w? Will it be OK? My current estimated power draw is around only 350 watt, but I'm definitely thinking of upgrading later on and want to have the option there for me. 16. I’m in a little bit of a pickle right now. I was waiting on b550 to be released, but as the day comes closer to release I’m having my doubts it will release. On top of that I was planning on getting the MSI tomahawk b550 board, but after hearing the price of $179 USD. I’m now considering just buying an X570 board that is less or just caving in and buying the b450 tomahawk board. Any advice on what to do? Also If you have any other motherboard recommendations what are they?
  17. Thanks! The DDR5 point really makes sense. I think im going to stick with the b450 then upgrade to b650 like a year after it comes out.
  18. I'm really itching to order my parts and build my new PC, but I just found out about 4th gen ryzen and that they only support 500 motherboards. I am thinking about upgrading to 4th gen a couple years from now so I don't know if I should just go ahead and order it and buy a new motherboard when I need it, or just be patient and wait? (My PC rn is slowing down and is getting hard to play games)
  19. I’ve heard mixed things about seagate drives. They are much cheaper than WD ones, but I’ve heard some horror stories about them. I was curious what other people thought about them. Are they trustworthy?
  20. Thanks! I think I’ll buy the case plus another fan. As for the rx 5700 I’ve heard they run a little faster, but they are hotter. I went with the 2060 because RTX voice sounds really intriguing, plus I get “Real time” Ray Tracing.
  21. I really love the look of the NZXT H510i case, but I am really worried about thermals. Would a RTX 2060 along with a Ryzen 5 3600 (air cooling) be fine, or should I find another case? If so what are similar looking cases for around the same price?
