  1. Thats a shame, but at least he has a choice which is cool for him. So whats going on with office? I feel like LTT has expanded incredibly quickly in the last year or two.
  2. Aww that's a shame. So does he host the exclusive videos then or is he entirely behind the scenes then? I hope he still takes part in Scrap Yard wars at least.
  3. I've been so busy with work and life commitments, I miss a lot Ltt's videos. I watched all the videos when they moved into the office, But what is actually going on now. I assumed they just rented the unit next door for storage, but they appear to be doing more than that. Whats going on? Bonus question; Where is Luke? Not seen him in ages and I like his presenting style.
  4. It depends on the case. My Coolermaster elite 130 has an i7 4790k water-cooled with a Corsair h80i and dual Noctua fans, and a GTX 1080. I also have 16GB of Ram and the whole system runs off Samsung 840 SSD. The motherboard has built in Wifi. What more would I need from a larger case? I have space for more HDDs if i really needed it and I've used multi GPU before and found it very hit and miss.
  5. Would be a lot more interested if; it could lay horizontal, the power button and USB was on same side as window, so GPU was on display all the time. Imagine how cool it would be if the front of a case was a window display of your GPU. To the 3D printer....... oh wait, I have a max bed size if 140mm. Maybe not then.
  6. I'm just hoping OverclockerUK are going to be helpful now with the RMA. It was only 2 months old and seeing as they are one of the main outlets of Palit cards in the U.K. (Palit is based in Hong Kong according to their website) they should replace the card. It's just irritating as makes me wish if bought from Amazon. They have their faults, but their returns policy has always been great to me.
  7. Thanks. It's difficult trying to explain to people the importance of a computer when its used for work and I have customers relying on having products delivered within a very short time frame. Its also worth pointing out that while yes, the GTX 1080 was bought partly for gaming, The power is also beneficial in rendering and batch photo editing, especially working at 4K as i do. On top of this, I've now got to find time to recalibrate my monitor again tomorrow with my Spyder as a gpu change throws it off.
  8. Well after hours of tests, both bios on the gtx 1080 have suffered from the issue. I've had no issues with my reference gtx 980 installed. Kind of pissed because I know RMA will be a pain. It's a Palit card, and their website says all returns go through store you bought from, but OverclockersUK say anything over 30 days must go to manufacturers. Not a lot i can do until after xmas anyway.
  9. Tried both. But I honestly do not believe this is the issue. I've tried it on a 2nd monitor with the same issue using both DP and hdmi. Up until today, this was never an issue at all. Annoyingly I dont have a way of trying this gtx1080 in any other pc as its triple slot and my other rig is itx.
  10. I've already tried all that. Did a full clean install. After switching to 2nd bios, I tried playing a game for 20 mins. After restart, I had the same issue again. No signal to monitor.
  11. Ah yes trying that now with a reference gtx 980 I have spare. So far 3 boots have worked fine. I have noticed the gtx 1080 has a dual bios. Going to try switching to 2nd bios. Update: reinstalled the 1080 with its second bios selected on the card. Currently haven't had an issue after a couple of boots. I guess next few hours will tell if it's a 'fix' or not.
  12. Second pc doesn't have Upto date software and my Lightroom catalog on it. Just put a reference gtx 980 in pc. Testing now. On board graphics work fine. But GPU acceleration makes photo editing and exporting a hell of a lot quicker. There's a hell of a difference between an iGPU and gtx 1080
  13. Memory. Lol. Windows automatically brings up password entry on boot.
  14. Ok so latest trial. No crash, Pc starts fine. Sound to speakers is ok and I can log in. But no signal to monitor at all.
  15. Thanks guys. I do appreciate the advice. I'm just worried as I'm working Xmas eve night in a club and don't finish until 2am. Really don't want to get in and have to disassemble pc. Lol
  16. I don't have a spare pci slot. My wifi card takes up the other slot. But I'll give it a go later if/when the issue reoccurs. The only reason I'm hesitant to believe it's the pci slot is that wouldn't explain why removing the psu cables and re connecting them fixes the issue sometimes.
  17. To be fair the crash has only happened once so far. And just came up Kernal error as most crashes do. It's all very confusing.
  18. The problem is none of this hardware is more than a year old. I may try a different psu if the problem continues.
  19. Okay here is a summary of the issue. Nothing had changed on my computer. There had been no windows updates or graphics card driver updates. I'd switched my computer off one night, and the next morning the problems appeared from nowhere. Upon switching on my computer, the GPU is failing to put out to signal to any monitor I try with it, either in display port or HDMI. I have done the standard troubleshooting procedures, (bios reset, disable OC, system restore, power off and drain power and reboot etc) Here is the odd thing about the issue. If I am plugged the power cables and remove the graphics card, and then simply put everything back in its place again. The knee issue disappears temporarily, for a few hours. However, upon boots in a few hours later, or after a system crash, I have to go through the whole procedure again to get the system to boot. The GPU in question is a GTX 1080. I am using a 1200W power supply. Full specs can be found in my signature below. Does anyone have any ideas? I am I freelance photographer, and I need my computer this weekend to do editing. So this is a pretty urgent issue. Thanks.
  20. How I get my sausages into my body is my business, nobody else's lol.
  21. Just look at the riots we had a few years back. The police were overun. In one city, a crowd surrounded a police station. Edit: Just want to clarify, I didn't support this damage in anyway. It was a fair cause and peaceful protest that thugs hijacked and used as an excuse to act like animals.
  22. Please explain to me why they food standards agency needs to know what porn I look at? To those saying they have nothing to hide, I'll remind you of Snowdons words; "Saying you don't worry about privacy because you have nothing to hide, Is like saying you don't worry about free speech if you have nothing to say." As soon as you start giving away rights, the rest will slip away afterwards.
  23. Good point. Maybe I should have specified officially lol updated. But you get brownie points. Lol
  24. Chances are at some point, racing games are going to want the new Amazon series featuring Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond; The Grand Tour. Microsoft have famously had the Official Top Gear track for a few years now, but my guess is they won't cross the streams. So what do you think? Polophony Digital have had the top gear track previously, but I believe their contract ended when it appeared in Forza. Then of course, you have Indie tiltes like Project Cars and Asseto Corsa. There could always be new games not yet announced bidding for the rights. Of of course there always a curveball. Amazon may not want to share the rights. Having recently started up their own gaming studio, it's possible a racing game with their AAA driving show tied in would be a key selling point, so what do you guys think? Personally I feel like Amazon won't share. Update: Official Support only, business partnership with Amazon. No Mods, that's cheating. Lol
