  1. I hope it's real GPU's! And I hope he ships at least in Canada ! I'm ready! take my wallet! haha
  2. Hi, I have this weird issue with my new Ryzen build. I'm pretty able with diagnosing issues but this time I'm really lost. My computer has heavy micro-stuttering after my computer is in a long sleep / shutdown, like everything stutters, desktop windows, chrome, gaming etc. Like moving windows on the desktop freezes then unfreezes. etc. It goes away when I perform a reboot or shutdown. ALTHOUGH! When it happens, reboot or shutdown will close windows but computer goes in zombie mode it stays awake and wont perform reboot/shutdown I have to long press the power button then it will stop. After that reboot It goes all smooth and I can even close the computer etc. normally. No BSOD or nothing. What have I tried : Formatting windows All overclocks reset to stock before any trouble shooting Re-seating RAM slots, inverting RAM sticks Running stress test such as Prime 95, Aida, GPU Stress test as Furmark, Timespy and Memtest86 all passed after 3-4 hrs each. I tried removing my vertical GPU bracket. Repasting the CPU (I know doesn't matter oh well) Unplugging monitors I've included a summary of my specs also a Speccy link of all my specifications of the computer, installs, drivers etc. Also included a photo of my system to make sense with my text. Thank you VERY MUCH! Summary Operating System Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Latest CPU AMD Ryzen 7 3800X RAM 16.0GB - Triden Z GSkill 3600Mhz CL18 Motherboard ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. 3. Thanks for those damn fast answers I'll reply my results when I get those in :)! It's fine for me if the lighting wont be as bright I'd rather have something synced haha
  4. Thanks! Yeah I was talking about their new http://www.enermax.com/home.php?fn=eng/product_a1_1_1&lv0=4&lv1=121&no=481 which seems to connect directly to a ARGB header. If yeah could I split the header?
  5. Great guide thanks! I have a question I would like to go with the Enermax route with Asus motherboard but they only seem to have one addressable RGB header. Any way to split it? I would like to connect my deepcool 360 castle RGB V2 and the enermax TD RGB A.D. How would I go by that?
  6. Thanks for the links and help One last question : What's the difference between 5V Addressable and 12V RGB. I understand that the addressable one you can display multiple led etc. and 12V RGB is one stripe of color. For example on the ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS it says 1 Addressable 5V RGB and 2 AURA RGB 12V. the aura RGB are those Standard 12V RGB header or they can be synced aswell?
  7. Haha I feel dumb! Thanks! Would you recommend Gigabyte as well? or Asus has one of the best overall package?
  8. Yeah I saw, does that mean that all those devices will be addressable by their aura sync software? or with the RGB addressable header?
  9. Yeah I figured that out That why I'm looking for help to see which RGB hardware is compatible. Even manufacturers website RGB compatibility list isn't great and not all parts sync well in their software...
  10. Hi, I'm currently looking to build myself a new computer after leaving the laptop world and coming back to PC finally! The information seems pretty scarce concerning RGB part compatibility. I need your help building the parts list! I'm trying to build myself a gaming / Software developing PC and minimizing the amount of software / "dongles" used to sync RGB lighting. I'm building myself a PC around the Ryzen 7 3700x CPU. AM4. My goal is fitting the Lian LI PC-011 Dynamic with a 360mm AIO and 3 botton RGB fan, also thinking about one day going full custom water cooling with that chassie. From what I've been reading MSI has great compatibility with corsair using jcorsair connector, but seems to be the most expensive. RGB parts I want : Ram, AIO, Fans, GPU. I don't need any SSD on my build already have. Here's a part list example I've build : https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/ZhsyXv but I feel it is more expensive than some Asus or Gigabyte parts. What would fit to minimize RGB softwares and sync RGB together. Budget +- 2000$ CAD. Thank you very much!
  11. I might just wait for a new model of the Aorus X3, with TB3, maybe the new keyboard in the aero 15.
  12. Bloatware meh don't care I always format to stock windows when I get them! Didn't know about the failure rates tho
  13. Thanks for the help :)! Hesitating between Aorus and Aero now! Time to research! Another question what do you think about MSI GS63?
  14. Yeah you're right! What do you think of the Aorus X3 Plus r7-KL3K4 13.9" ? It just doesn't have TB3 https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834725048
  15. Yeah I've heard about that, it's just the build quality I'm wondering with the aero 14/15. Coming from the XPS 15 I'm like Meh
  16. Haha yeah thanks! I was looking at the UHD model (which seems to have a better screen) its 2849$ + damn 15% taxes here in quebec... 3300$ Any idea hows the FHD screen?
  17. I check it, darn they are expensive in Canada :S! Over 3000$ is my max budget
  18. Total budget and country of purchase: Budget ~2500 CAD - CANADA Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply. Processor : i7 GPU : GTX 1060 (not less... if not not worth it compared to the new 9560 XPS) Screen : As color accurate as possible. 1080p but more would be preferable. (I don't care about g-sync or 120hz) Bonus : Thunderbolt 3 is a nice to have How important is weight and thinness to you? Weight 5 pounds and less Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. 15" or less 1080p but more would be preferable Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. Programming, Website editing and creation also Gaming! If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? Well GPU GTX 1060. Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Good build quality : E.G metal body, I don't mind flex etc. just not plastic or not a lot of it. Good touchpad and keyboard : I use them a lot when I'm on the go for programming etc. Gaming I use a mouse. Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. So I've been doing my research for ages now and I can't seem to find something that will suites my needs... I'm looking for a gaming capable laptop. I use it mostly for programming and web designing. I currently own a Dell XPS 15 9550 (i7-6700HQ, GTX 960m, UHD). Why am I saying that, because I got a bit spoiled by the Amazing color accurate screen and amazing build quality, mentioning the Microsoft precision touchpad, but darn the gpu is bad. I've check the alienware 13 OLED nice but way to heavy, also checked the aorus x3 but darn it's hard to find information about it.
  19. What's the color accuracy of the device, and what's the touchpad drivers. Thank you..
  20. I went with the XPS 15 MSI GS60 Uses a TN Panel, which for my it's too much a big sacrifice going from a macbook Y700 : Too heavy and a okay screen.
  21. What do you guys think of the Y700 Lenovo? Or Dell XPS 15
  22. Thanks for the products :D! Is it too much to ask for something a bit more light? or thin? I don't wanna feel the burden of carrying it every day. Before my MacBook, I had a HP, 5.5 pounds. Reason I bough something lighter. I have lots of stuff to carry
  23. I am currently checking out for a new laptop. I've recently sold my Macbook Pro Retina 13, which doesn't correspond to my needs anymore. I'm looking for a casual gaming laptop the rest is for programming. Going off the Product Design 2016 Suite recommended specs I would need at least: Core i7 - i5 (preferably i7) 8+ GB of RAM 250+ GB SSD GT 950M, GTX 960M (Enough for my gaming needs) Light 5 Pounds of less 1080P or more With a great quality screen (Touch not required.. I hate touch) 13.3" to 15" Budget 2500$ Max (CAD Rupies...) that's like 1900-2000 USD If possible NO Optical Drive Thank you :)!
