  1. I bought the Same snake oil cable in 3/5 and 20m. Soo angry. Both the Moshou & Vention HDMI Fibre optic cable are bogus. Do not get 4K120 with my AMD 6900XT and LG C9.
  2. I bought a whole bunch of ridiculous HDMI cables due to frustration of lack of HDMI 2.1 cable availability in South Africa and bought from all over and only one was able to output 2160p @120hz 4:4:4 10bit on LG C9. Was soo angry, as importing cost me soo much(hundreds of dollars), but just wanted to avoid being scammed-only to be scammed. I even contacted HDMI.org to verify these cable, and they were not helpful… I did notice improved colour quality with Fibre Optic HDMI cables, but did not do 4K120 as advertised. These are the SNAKE OIL cables I purchased and have, and I linked both manufacturer website and Stores bought from: Vention HDMI Cable 8K - Bought On AliExpress - Did not do 4K120 - 3m Vention Optical Fiber HDMI Cable 8K - Bought On AliExpress - Did not do 4K120 - 3m, 5m & 20m MOSHOU HDMI 2.1 - Bought from AliExpress , eBay, Sikaicase & Amazon - Did not do 4K120 - 3m & 5m MOSHOU HDMI 2.1 Blue - Bought from AliExpress - Did not do 4K120 - 3m & 5m MOSHOU Optical Fibre HDMI 2.1 - Bought on Sikaicase, Ebay & Amazon - Did not do 4K120 - 3m, 5m &10m After a review from Vincent Teoh on HDTVTest about the Zeskit HDMI 2.1 cable, I bought the 3m & 5m and they worked perfectly and can be scanned with HDMI certification app. Zeskit Maya HDMI 2.1 - Bought from Amazon – Worked with 4K120 - 3m & 5m Please may you also test the TrueHQ & Maxonar 48gbps Ultra High Speed Cables in 3m & 5m.
  3. Hi Guys, I have a WD Elements 1078 2TB drive not showing in disk management but showing in bios & device manager? I have tried using different PC's and USB ports. It was used on Windows 10 previously. The drive power is on and spinning. I have tried updating driver in device manager. I have also tried using software like EASEUS partition, but the program wont load whilst drive is inserted. I've even tried WD software which does not recognise the drive. When I plug in the drive, Windows gives the beep to say it was picked up? Any ideas how to fix this. Is there a way of doing this in DOS or recovering files in DOS? I have a Gigabyte X570 Aourus Master. Any help would be great!
  4. Hi Guys. How do you stop the CPU clocking below base clock? Do you disable global c states? I have a 3800X and jumps between 3.6 and 4.5GHz. I wandering if I could get it to stay at base of 3.9 and boost to 4.5Ghz if this would result in extra performance
  5. I have had multiple SLI rigs, last with 2x 1080tis. I have recently gone to a single 2080ti as I couldnt get good runs with custom loop. When SLI works, its awesome and crushes single card, but I noticed that it only a few games that utilises them, and majority doesnt sadly. So I would hold on to the 2070 for a few more months, and wait on new AMD/Nvidia GPUs and save as much as possible to get the highest tear card if you want 4K60 ultra settings.
  6. Hi All, I have 3 AMD systems listed below: 1: AMD 3800X - PBO and XMP enabled with Custom Loop for CPU, MB and GPU Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master - Bios F11 2x G.Skill Trident Z Neo (For AMD Ryzen) Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin RGB DDR4 3600MHz PC4-28800 F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC Nvidia RTX 2080ti - MSI Gaming X Trio Corsair 1200HXi PSU 2: AMD 3800X - PBO and XMP enabled with EVGA CLC280 AIO Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra - BIOS F12e Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 AMD Optimized Memory - Black Nvidia GTX 1080ti - Gigabyte Gaming OC 11G Corsair 1000HXi PSU 3: Ryzen 7 3700X - XMP and PBO enabled with Cryorig H7 Plus MSI X470 Gaming Plus MAX Ryzen ATX Motherboard - BIOS - 7B79vH4 Corsair Vengeance PRO RGB 3200MHz 16GB Gaming RAM AMD RX580 - Sapphire Radeon RX 580 Nitro+ 8GB Antec VP700 80+ High Performance Power Supply So when gaming and monitorng the Afterburner overlay I notice the following: Both system 1 & 2 on Gigabyte boards go to a base clock of 3600MHz(per core at some point) instead 3900MHz and boost to about 4400 to 4525MHz. System 3 on MSI board goes to a base clock 3700Mhz(per core at some point) and boost to about 4400MHz. Does any other 3800X on other motherboards experience base clocks of 3600MHz? All updates from windows, drivers and bios are applied and temperatures are well within check. The Power plan in windows is set to Maximum and Bios power savings(C0 etc) are disabled. For System 1: CB R20 Multi - ~4968 CB R20 Single - ~512 I am not familiar with Ryzen Master and noticed completely different values? Any advise or findings as to why base clocks not accurate? Appreciated!!
