  1. your motherboard could just not like your ram lol its not common but it does happen every now and then
  2. could always blame the thermal paste, poor application or maybe your cpu cooler doesnt have equal pressure on the cpu
  3. as far as cold war goes, as long as you have a gpu that is at least as good as an rx 580 you should be "ok" but you might run into some problems in zombies in that range, die maschine is around 30% more demanding than multiplayer, while fire base z is more close to 5-10% compared to multiplayer coldwar is kinda all over the place when it comes to how well the game runs
  4. yeah no its fine, i do the same thing to other people too, i mean.. i havent even gone to bed yet.. so i tend to do it quite a bit..
  5. i was literally just saying how benchmarking applications are one of the few that actually care about overclocks lol but still, i believe that unless you have a reason to not overclock (not wanting a noisy or toasty pc would be one of them), then you should just go for it, because if noise or temps are not all that much of a worry for someone then what reason would they have to not overclock, thats all im really saying.
  6. yeah thats fine, i do the same thing although i have it so the fans dont kick in at all until around 85c.. winter is just so goddamn cold. it honestly depends on the application, a 5mhz core clock boost can give as much as an extra 50 or a 100 points in a 3dmark benchmark. while i want to say 95% of games couldnt care less. but again that tends to happen when you overclock an rx 580 from 1340mhz all the way to 1530mhz and set the memory to 2300mhz lmao, an rx 580 is one of those cards that have a lot of potential since the high end 580's can pull 270w at a toasty 1.5v (i have no idea why this card of mine can run at 1.5v), the reference cards can only pull around 185w i believe tbh 99% of the time i run my gpu below spec at 1337mhz with -50mv on the core because other than benchmarks applications dont really care much about your oc, although that isnt mean you shouldnt do it or dont have a reason to, i just have a reason to not do it lol.
  7. motherboards themselves can have coil whine, it doesnt mean there is something wrong with it or if there is going to be, its just kinda there. im too lazy to look at the videos, but i assume thats where the sound is coming from, because if its not aio, gpu, or psu then its probably the motherboard, it happens sometimes.
  8. there definitely are better hard drives out there lol i have one myself and it can be a pain in the ass sometimes, had to reformat the drive on several occasions, which isnt all that fun since it takes over 3 hours to do so
  9. set the clock speed for the gpu to something like 1340mhz
  10. those start out fast but degrade very quickly from my experience, like you would start to get issues within 2 months kind of fast
  11. does it happen during startup or while the pc is running?
  12. used ones used to be priced great at around 130-150 us dollars or 110-125 euros, but the prices have doubled since then lol personally i would take one good hdd over a moderately sized shdd, like say a nice wd black drive
  13. depends on the motherboard i think, msi and asus motherboards shouldnt have an issue, while gigabyte you may need an adapter, but thats for controlling the fans. the rgb itself should be powered by the motherboard regardless of which one you have
  14. if it can handle gta v, chances are it can handle the others perfectly fine
  15. try doing a manual oc with ryzen master instead of pbo, it may be broken some how
