  1. Ok, that is what I thought, thank you! Looks like I will be replacing my router then. I think I could probably get it to work somehow by using the network card and running all data for the webserver through there, but I don't really know how to do any of that and I probably should replace the router anyways. I'll just have to do some more research.
  2. Yes, I do understand that. I am trying to host a website (The NextCloud webUI), but Unraid uses the http and https ports for its own stuff, so I am wanting to take any traffic coming from the general internet to my NAS and move it to a different port so that Unraid doesn't intercept it and it can instead be used by NextCloud. This is kind of complicated and might mess up my other things, so maybe I could try to redirect traffic coming to nextcloud to a different IP by redirecting that traffic to my network card rather than my motherboard's build in ethernet port and then those ports would be open and I wouldn't have to do any of this right?
  3. I am trying to setup a reverse proxy in order to use NextCloud from outside of the LAN, so I just want to redirect traffic coming to my NAS' IP to a different port. I am following this video to try and figure out what I need to do. Have a look at what he says at 10:05. That's where I am.
  4. So I know how port forwarding works, but I use an Xfinity router (With my setup it's cheaper to rent Xfinity's router than to use my own). The Xfinity router has a port forwarding option in the settings on 10.0.0.1. This however just links to the XFi website where you can add a port forward there. The issue is, their website has no option to set the start port and end port. I am adding NextCloud to my Unraid NAS which uses ports 80 and 443 for its web UI, but these ports are in use by Unraid, so I want to map external traffic coming into port 80 or 443 to ports 180 and 1443 (just for the NAS) and set NextCloud to use those ports so that I can use my domain and access NextCloud from outside of my LAN. Is there another way to do this without using the port forwarding option? I contacted Xfinity support which (as usual) was useless and just told me what I already knew.
  5. Ah - I fixed it. I had to install the drivers for the network adapter via device manager. Thanks!

  7. I have a Unraid VM and I am attempting to pass through a network card to run a game server on it. It is a Windows 10 VM, there is nothing on it at the moment because it has no internet so I can't download anything. I tried following the instructions from this forum post, but the virutal machine still didn't have ethernet. The network card shows up in device manager but its under other devices instead of network adapters where it is supposed to be.
  8. K - I will try that, do I just do that while it is on, during boot, or when it's turned off?
  9. So I made a post about this a bit ago and I thought I fixed it but I didn't. I have some more information. I took out 2 sticks of RAM that I didn't know the speed of because I thought maybe they were trying to overclock - made it more stable but didn't fix it - now it just restarts completely randomly - once I joined a discord call and it restarted. I have an i9-10900K, ASUS Z490-G, 32GB of RAM (But I took out 16 for troubleshooting) and an RTX 2070 SUPER. PSU is a Corsair RM850x. I have a theory as to what is going on: the motherboard has an AI overclocking system. The way it is supposed to work is you reset to the default BIOS settings, run a benchmark, and then change it to the AI mode and it will work. I haven't really tried it, but I also don't really trust it to be stable. I don't need it to be overclocked, I just want it to be stable. I think some one of the settings is still on the default auto thing. Any ideas on which one?
  10. I have an inroad nas and I changed the mobo, cpu, and case recently and since then the web dashboard doesn’t work and ftp doesn’t work - nas works though. That’s it.
  11. K - will try that in the morning just eliminate that. (It’s night time now for me)
  12. Oh ok - someone mentioned setting a voltage manually. I don’t really want to overclock the CPU but it sounds like the motherboard is trying to do it by itself. I did notice the voltage was on auto in the bios. If I put it to manual, what voltage should I set it to?
