  1. I’m just hoping my Noctua will do the trick and get my cpu running at normal clocks! I’ve thought about water cooling before, but just never had the extra cash to invest in it. Thank you for your help!
  2. Corsair Air 240 (A small form factor case, hence the small cpu cooler)
  3. My normal cooler is a NH-L9x65 which was previously cooling an I-7 6700 which has the same tdp as my Ryzen. I never had any problems then, do you think once I get my mounts for that Cpu cooler and replace it I will get better boost speeds? PS, about the VRM’s, I’m pretty new to this stuff, but I have two fans above my mother board, pointing down, but I don’t know how else I would cool the MOBO other than that, thank you!
  4. So do you think it’s thermal throttling at that temperature? Because my scores are 3490 at average, and I’ve been looking online and it seems the average score is about 3560 for this cpu? My single core performance is on par with the ones online as well as I said, but my multi is 70 points off of most Ryzen 5 3600’s. Thank you!

  6. Hi everyone! I just got a new motherboard, along with a new cpu. The motherboard is a b450m ds3h, and is paired with a Ryzen 5 3600. I love them both, but I’m having an issue with the CPU speeds. I have all the latest drivers installed for my chipset, and my power plan is set to ultimate performance, power boost overdrive is enabled in the bios, but I’m getting really bad benchmarking scores for some reason. I’m Cinebench r20, the most I’ve gotten is 3515, but on average I’m getting around 3450 on multi core. Strange enough, I ran single core performance test twice, and they were both within good ranges, it’s only my multi score test that isn't doing well. In the test for all cores, the cpu on runs at 3800mhz which seems really low to me for a cpu with boost capability of 4200mhz. I’ve tried everything, but the thing just won’t boost. I set all my cores manually to 4000mhz, and my cinebench scores came up, but I don’t want to have to Overclock, as I have the stock cooler for now (waiting on mounting kit for my old cooler), but my temps shouldn’t be throttling my cpu either right now, as I have the cooler set to max, and it is sitting at around 75c in cinebench stress tests. Any help would really be appreciated, thank you!
  7. Hi I’m sorry I’m very new to all of this, how would I know if the IP address is somehow wrong or odd?
  8. I haven’t even been able to get steam yet. I’ve been trying to download Nvidia drivers for my graphics card, but they won’t download, as the download rate is 100kb/sec
  9. Download site at 29.92 mbps (which is correct for the WiFi here at my house) but when downloading something it goes to almost a single kB a sec
  10. Yes, the Ethernet does say it’s linked to my pc. The motherboard manual doesn’t mention anything about the lights. It does get an IP, and for Iperf I don’t know, as when I downloaded it, it wouldn’t open, but my status for the Ethernet is all normal, saying speed is sitting at 1gbps
  11. Hello everyone! I just installed a new motherboard and cpu (gigabyte b450m ds3h... Ryzen 5 3600) and I’m having a bit of a problem. When my Ethernet is plugged in, it recognizes my WiFi, and I can hook up just fine, but it runs horribly slow. The only thing I have to go off of is on my IO Shield, the lan port flashes orange, and has a solid red light next to it as well. Please help!! I’m hoping it’s not a motherboard issue, but I’ve tried everything software related! ( downloading drivers, tuning up connection settings, etc) please help thank you!
  12. Yes, during benchmarking it runs fine. Good scores and everything. Looking at frame time though even in benchmark, this is the result...
  13. The FPS runs fine with everything, FPS numbers are very good, even minimums, but the frametimes in everything seem to spiking like crazy all the time, which seems to cause stuttering constantly which is getting very annoying
  14. This is frame times during rising storm 2... these seem incredibly high, and when I was displaying them in game they seemed to be at an average of 10ms so I don’t know why they are so high here... 60842113976__CF1D2C71-173E-4251-9913-FB14C3C6EE60.MOV
  15. So what exactly makes my frametimes more stable, because videos I’ve seen with high FPS in games that’s fluctuate do not stutter like mine is? Thank you
