Haaaaa yeah I I’m clearly not just a newb ... this pc is fucked . Beyond fucked . I’ve now spent allllllll day pull out the same sticks of ram and putting them back in . I got 12 gigs and it finally fucking booted last night at 4 am . I go to bed and start again today only for it not to boot . Now it only boots with 4 gigs in it . Alllllll I did was enable xmp , and I turned it back off after the fact , but still nothing . It’s getting stuck in a boot loop , or loading to asus express gate and then just not actually fucking loading anything . I give up .

The motherboard is an asus M4A88T-M i got it upgraded to 12 gigs of ram , it’s noticeably not as sluggish . But now I’m realizing it was my original thought . The harddrive from the second I turn the pc on it’s maxed out 100% usage . Nothing should be writing to the harddrive though because I’ve already done all the updates and such . I tried swapping the harddrive out , for some reason it’s not registering that the new harddrive has windows also . I don’t know I’m going to keep screwing around until I get it figured out . turns out the Ram slots are just dumb two black ones right beside each other and two blue ones ... you would assume that the two back are matchin slots and the two blue are matching slots.. nope . Top back goes to middle blue , bottom blue hose to middle black so I spent over 3 hours plugging ram into the wrong slots because of stupid colours I feel like a newb

I’ve got a bunch of a ram laying around but none of it is working with it ? Went from 2 to 8 gb. I swapped out the harddrive to a newer one also . And not it just flat out one turn on . It gets stuck on asus express gate loading screen. Im giving up for the night because I’ve got a headache and I’ll try again tomorrow. Thank you guys .

Amd phenom II x6 1045t right now it’s only got 2 gigs of ram so that is the only thing I can think of why it’s this slow ... but I click on a page and start scrolling through Facebook on my phone while I wait for it load. It generally takes like 10-30 seconds for things to load . Sometimes it takes full on minutes . I really think even with only 2gb it shouldn’t be struggling as hard as it is?

Ouhkay so I unplugged everything a bunch a plugged it back in .... now it works...

I’ve got no display on my second monitor, and windows is defaulting it to my main display so i physically can’t fucking change anything or do anything . What the fuck here ? Just bought the card . So I have zero clue as to why this is happening ? It shows up when I turn the pc on and then nothing

I don’t ? I don’t know what I plan on doing that’s why I’m asking what the hell do I do lol I have zero plan I have an idea and zero clue how to execute it.

Not just bad ping , but slow download speeds. He’s a streamer and relies on his internet so I want to do what I can to help. Close friend , so I trust him enough with my IP and stuff . So is it possible for me to set up an old Dell server ive got as something for him to remote into for internet access ? He lives in India and we live in Canada and the US , so he gets like 300 ping and it’s bad lol there has to be some way to make things easier right ?

I’m currently running i7 6700 and 1050ti , i I were to upgrade the gpu to a MSI 1660 Ventus 6Gb OC NOT super I think . Buying used so I can’t remember it that’s a super or not and I think not... but that card or Power Color Red Dragon RX580 ? the 1660 would cost potential 150-200 , dude was asking 2 and I’m trying to negotiate lol the 580 was priced at 200 and I got him down to 180. That’s the lowest he said he would go . I’m also using Canadian dollars lol any help what so ever is greatly appreciated thank you

Only reason it has to be 47K is because that’s the motherboard I have that I can over lock with

@JoostinOnline I’d accept selling for 200 with the 580 . That’s what I paid for the ram and power supply lol like I said I’m only looking to sell to those who can’t afford top of the line but still want to play games with their friends lol

@JoostinOnline @ausham what would you guys sell the gtx 580 + i5 4430 + 24 gigs of ram (ripjaws brand new and something else I can’t remember the brand ) brand new thermal take 600w power supply , cable managed and enough fans to give me the blowy ive been looking for my whole life cool master case , and 1tb harddrive no ssd .

I bought a bunch of stuff second hand because I was building a computer for a friend who ended up not wanting to pay , so seeing if I already have the best configuration and then planed on selling the rest as whole desktops to people who can’t afford top of the line

I currently own a evga 1050 ti Asus gtx 580 Evga gtx 950 Asus Gt 1030 2x asus r9 270x for SLI toxic r9 270x i plan to be using the computer to game and stream , maybe some light video editing if I feel spicy enough. the cpus I currently own are i7 6700 i5 4590 i5 4430 i5 3470 amd fx 3.4gzh 8 core ( I don’t remember the actual part number and such) what would be the fastest and best configuration of parts ? I’m currently limited with certain cpus , to the amount of ram I can use because the motherboards only have 2 slots . That one being the i7. after I figure out the best configuration, I can toss my AIO in to keep boost clocks up and stuff.

I have a ps4 headset strapped to my original headset , for a mic . Because the mic just randomly stopped working? Was working last night , my buddy joins my game today and nothing . I get sound though just no mic . Other headset only the left ear works and no mic . One headset I don’t have proper connectors for so I can’t use it . Why is this happening and how do it get things to work properly so I don’t look like a fuckin robot with wires strapped to my head

I didn’t know where to post this but graphics seems like a close fit lol im just suggesting a new benchmark for usual benchmarks Linus runs during videos . Fallout 76 , and have a second person shooting a Tesla rifle . This game is optimized or something so horribly , sometimes you can count the individual pixels on screen . 5 FPS on a 1050ti is what I get and I know others that have RTX cards and still have the same problems . So I think this would be a great edition to the benchmarks because if it can run fallout without any hiccups then it gets a pass in my books

Would also help if fallout 76 the game in trying to play , had actually fucking display settings. There’s no brightness what so ever . You want to change one small graphic detail then you best be ready to restart your entire game . I’m sick of this

I’ve poured over ever inch on where I think these settings can be . I’m sick of halfway through a game and the screen just goes black . Like so dark I. Can’t see anything . I restart the computer and it’s normally fine . Sometimes it dosnt fix itself . Why the hell dose the happen and how do I make it stop

Yeah nvm about the first headset . One speaker is just completely dead . So is there a way to fix the second that sounds far away and under water ?

I’ve been gaming in this headset for a few months , didn’t notice any issues the night before this happened , but the next day when I went to game I had no microphone. I could still be in game chat and hear my friends , but I was talking away and started wondering why no one was answering me lol the headset is a plantronics .audio655 DSP I don’t know if that helps for the type of headset it is or not . I also have this other headset my aunt bought me , I think it might have been bargain bin or something. The mic on that headset is great compared to the other headset , but the sound coming through the headset is abysmal . Sounds like people are under water and things just sound really damp and far away . Is there a way I could fix that ? If I can’t figure out my first headset ? I’m just confused as to why it up and stopped working . I uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and that didn’t help so I don’t know what else . Tried all my USB ports .

Ouhkay I think the problem is that it is picking up other things when the headset gets unplugged. I play with ps4 controller and everytime the controller vibrates like it’s the sound device . And in Windows it’s set to my headset , and in the games I’m using and examples , apex just used default windows , and fallout it dosnt say anything in the audio options , just push to talk or not . So not very helpful . I’m going to try disabling the controller as an audio device and then the only other is the tv , so I’m going to try that program you mentioned , and if my headset gets unplugged , then I will just hotkey and swap . If none of this actually helps I will let you guys know . Thank you . And I’m very glad everyone got a laugh out of my stupid ass troubles I’m not laughing so much
