You don’t really need to do anything like that to get the chip to match the 9900K in most games.

Well use ryzen master to put 4 cores to sleep, then you have same amount of cores than intel. Overclock to 4.75 ghz and boom. Its will be same performing as intel i9 9900k.

In terms of reliability, I have had this AMD Ryzen 1600 for 3 years and I never had a single hiccup.

The 3900X matches 9900K in most games according to benchmarks I’ve seen.

Why 9900K when the 3900X exists and even costs less?

R 9 3900x will serve you longer and better. With 12 cores and 24 threads (with good enough cooling, the strix lc 360mm is very good) you will make much better and faster video renderings, workloads etc than i9 9900k. For gaming disabling 4 cores and 8 threads, gives you more overclock headroom to gaming, and it will match the i9 9900k (you can disable them wihtout going into bios).

The ram. 16 gb is enough and with that overkill motherboard you have plenty of headroom to upgrade that in the future. 3600mhz and cl14 is the best for ryzen right now, since money is not the problem.

Adata sx8200 pro is very similar to that samsung one, put with lower price. 500gb is enough for windows and your main games. For huge gaming library the 1tb sata ssd will be good enough, since games do not use all of that m.2ssd speed. 2tb hdd for large files etc.

The one of the best (and one of the most expensive) rtx 2080tis. Good look, cooling and software.

The asus helios is good looking and mid range performing in airflow. Its very overpriced, but it loos kinda nice.

I could not find a price for rog thor psu in partpicker, so i put 750 strix psu instead (still good performing, badass look).

Since helios comes with 4 non rgb fans. You should buy thermaltake 14 premium edition 3 pack fans. (those in the list are 120mm and not 140mm cuz partpicker did not have the 140mm ones) Mount them in the front, the aio on the top, and you could buy one more 140mm rgb fan at the rear.

Kill the smaller ssd and replace it with a hard drive, games don’t benefit with ssd outside of load times, but storage is great to have.
