  6. what the motherboard has in it is a xeon e3 1240 v3 i also tried booting the system with a very old cpu to see if it was that the bios dint support it since i take out the cmos battery before and neither it boot with it i checked for bent pins and there is none at all.
  7. I had a asrock fatal1ty z97 killer the first out of 3 boards and it has a red light that it dint have 2 weeks ago when i pulled it out of my system and today i tried just using the mortherboard and the red light on it doesnt turn off even when the system is off and it also does 1 minute boot cycles i tried from reseting it cmos for about 20 minutes out of the board i also tried the clear cmos pins on the mother and switch bios from a1 to b2 and it dint post on neither of them i check the cpu to be sure it wasnt it but it doesnt actually get hot so it means its working also changing ram slots trying different ram re-seating the processor unpluging and reconnecting everything the only things i do remember doing was cleaning the motherboard with a painters brush and taking out the cmos battery witch i have done before and the light has never done that before. before the normal cycle was it would boot red light would come up till the fatality logo would come up then it would turn itself off and boot
  8. So i have 2 patriot signature ram blue modules ddr3 16gb 1600mhz ram that cannot be run in dual channel or they crash or cause instabilitys that cause it to give me blue screens of death could be this a manifacturing defect List of the things i have tried Memtest for about 2-3 hours it doesn't detect any errors at all i did two test for each stick aswell and no error The solution i found is that the ram can be run in dual channel but with different memory brands i put 1 patriot ram stick with a crucial ballistix sport module and they running fine without any crashes and i also added the other single patriot ram module but in single channel in total im running about 20gb of ddr3 ram and no crashes what so ever could this can someone explain why this is happening if possible.
  9. So i have 2 https://www.newegg.com/patriot-16gb-240-pin-ddr3-sdram/p/N82E16820220772 but they are different model number 1 stick is ps989-15010 and the other is ps989 15055 i have tried everything to get them working but i just cant at all when you run both dual-channel they cause alot problem like the closing of games without error-blues screens of death often also like almost everytime you running a game i have tried running the sticks single channel and they seem not have any problems what so ever no crashes or blues screens. the things i have tried changing the cas latencys from 11 to 10 to 9 neither work all blue screen or crash i have tried to lower their speed to 1333ghz have change the slots on my motherboard nothing works just crashing completely. idk if it is because of the model number difference ect. my build processor-xeon e3 1240 v3 Ram-ddr3 16gb 1600 patriot signature line Motherboard-z97 fatal1ty killer GPU-Gtx 1080 ti turbo Power supply-HX650W professional bronze 80+

  11. I mean if you sending something this expensive you should know the piece you made is fragile im not saying computer components are fragile because they are not but when something like your motherboard bents thats not up the shipping company to handle LMG should have known better to wrap in with more foam to absorb the impacts or more cushions.
