  1. Love Alex in the chaotic types of videos, such as the old-school workshop and waterblock design videos. He has this smart enough to know better, but dumb enough to do it the stupid way energy. Tynan is similar to him Sarah is really spontaneous in front of the camera and I really enjoy her reviews and videos since she seems knowledgeable and passionate about a lot of stuff Emily for being knowledgeable as hell and still finding great ways to entertain (see the roasting offers on marketplace video) Honorable mention to Luke, Riley, Dan, David and Tanner McCoolman
  2. In terms of the drama regarding LTT, I'm not angry at what they (allegedly) did. I'm angry at myself for having someone in such a high regard as LTT influenced me to chase the career I'm chasing and recommending their videos and products to others. What made me think hard was seeing how awful people in the general tech community are. Besides that, been struggling somewhat with what seems like undiagnosed ADHD and mild depression, but it's all part of the course
  3. I've learned over time that it's not about having top of the line specs just for sake of it. I got myself a pretty baller laptop when starting uni (not the best best but definitely over spec). Truth be told, there was a slight chance that I would have gone to the programing route while studying, however since I'm studying electrical engineering, I mostly use it for reading and occasional Word document writing. You learn over time that it's not about having the most popular tools, but the ones that fit your needs
  4. What is a "good" printer brand nowadays? It seems like all of them have practices or history of doing stuff like this. I don't know what to recommend to people any more
  5. A large issue seems to be the conflict of interests with having the HR being lead by part owner and the wife of the other owner. Considering that there seems to be a problem on multiple levels, even with some higher management, doing something about Madison's allegations would mean going against some of their longest tenured and most important employees. I can understand why they wanted to ignore it. Not to mention that that kind of HR is nowhere near competent and large enough to handle the company of that size. HR at the time was also doing accounting and handling other positions and probably didn't have time to deal with this
  6. While I admire the cause you claim to support with your actions here and I somewhat agree what you have said, that's not the best way to go about it. Yes, there are levels to bad things that people experience in life, and my day being ruined by me cutting myself while cooking is nowhere near as bad as the way some people are being exploited in awful ways. But it still sucks for me at that moment. You should never disregard someone's fears and pain as being small and less then other person's. There is time and place to advocate for everything. Chose it carefully and don't hurt others in that process
  7. You, my friend, are long past proving a point. Now you are saying stuff for sake of making people angry. Come to think of it, that's what you've been doing the whole time.
  8. Stop trolling. You don't come out as funny or smart
  9. No one here is angry at men in general. Not all men are bad, most of them are great. Everyone is mad at people who are resorting to insulting any involved party, but most of that hate is aimed towards Maddison. Some things said on forums should have never even been taught of.
  10. Again, as always, seems that there is no point in arguing. People will always troll on purpose, on accident, or just be plain ignorant. We can't do anything either way, only make sure that this doesn't get swept under the rug. If half of this stuff turns out to be true, it's really bad. Main point is: don't assume that your experience is valid for everyone and that your opinion is the one everyone should listen to and follow. And for the love of God, please be civil to the parties involved and to the others. Everyone involved is a real person
  11. Taking a break from the drama. What are you studying? It can be your general major, specific subject/class, or something you find interesting and want to share a fact about. I'll start: right now I'm studying probability and statistics
  12. Welcome to the forum and thank you for your opinion. Now leave, please
  13. Bad take. Do you ask your bros casually how they like to fuck and if they can twerk for you?
  14. Exactly. Makes it seem as if they're not taking this serious enough. Which I don't think some are. And even if they are, it's really tone-deaf. Now is not the time to profit from of this. Didn't know it was monetized before, now it seems quite bad again
