I’ve been disassembling my graphics card to put a waterblock on it. However I can’t get the screws on the bracket to come off. I’ve tried a million different sized philips head screwdrivers and none of them seem to work.

I’ll probably order an infrared thermometer instead. (Prob. easier than attaching thermometers)

Coolant does not flow between that barrier/ it exits the radiator goes through the cpu and out to the gpu.

I just recently finished building my first hardline tubing rig and after overclocking my 9900k to 5ghz I noticed that temps for my gpu during stress tests never got beyond 30c since the same coolant is going through the loop how is this possible?

I assume it was most likely just an air bubble.

Well either I can’t read numbers or one thing happens to my computer because I am reading 60-75c temps on my cpu and 25c for my gpu/still strange how the gpu is 25c.

Yes I removed the plastic wrap and I don’t see any air bubbles.

How is my gpu running at around 40c with my cpu at 90c ish??

I can’t physically touch the radiator but the fans but heat being pulled from the system is not incredibly hot. However when I drained the loop shortly after running a stress test to remount the water block the coolant was fairly warm. It makes no sense that the gpu temps are low and the cpu is at 90c especially since it’s all one loop.

Yeah it didn’t make much sense to me either. I assume the air bubble is visible? (Just figuring out a way to identify it)

Voltage while under stress test was around 1.37volts (pretty high)and I already tried remounting the water block. Voltage the issue? Honestly I don’t know much about overclocking so I had trouble with voltage offsets/undervolting.

Recently I finished my first hardline custom loop and have had difficulty overclocking my i9 9900k without reaching 90c (during stress tests). My Gpu on the other hand does not exceed 40c while under load. Currently my graphics card is far to big to allow for more than one radiator support without installation difficulty. The only way I can mount it is vertically as the side panel does not fit otherwise. Any suggestions?

Problem is with my current configuration I can’t fit two rads/ my gpu is just too large.

After finishing my first hardline custom loop I have had trouble hitting 5ghz without hitting 90+c(while running a stress test)on my cpu and Vrms. I have little experience with overclocking CPU’s and memory as with most of the pcs I’ve built I have left the bios almost untouched. I have tried messing with offset/tried to under-volt it but had no luck. I understand that the 9900k does run hot but not this hot, especially with a custom loop. My rig Cpu: i9 9900k Motherboard: Msi z390 Godlike Memory: Corsair dominator platinum 32gb 3600mhz Gpu: Rtx 2080 ti kingpin/w hydrocopper 6 Corsair ll120 fans and an ek pe 360 mm rad (I apologize for the poor image quality)
