  1. I was planning out a build for my dad, who uses his failing laptop for general things like Skype, web browsing and occasional light gaming like SC2. However he would like it to be "future-proof" for as long as possible. I would appreciate any opinions on - http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/jXxLwP I already have some spare parts that I was planning to use, 4GB of RAM, a 550w PSU, a 1GB video card, and a microATX case.
  2. Hello all. I'm going to upgrade my PC to a 780, but I can't find up-to-date numbers on which one is best for gaming. I was looking at the Gigabyte Ghz edition because it's the fastest one I could find but whenever I think I've got the right one 2 more show up. Thanks for any responses.
  3. I should've mentioned that I'd like to future proof (as much as possible) for another couple of years. And that I don't need past 60FPS (Ultra) but I'd like to stay there for as long as possible.
  4. Hello. I'll be gaming at 1080p and was wondering if this gaming set up was abit far past overkill. I was going to go for 8GB of RAM and a 780, but the PC specs for Watch_Dogs and Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor made me think otherwise. Is it abit much? Also, I know the PSU is larger than it need be, but I thought I'd leave extra power incase I wanna SLI at some point. This is about my max budget. GBP. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/3pXFR Thanks for any responses.
  5. That battery life. If it's as legit as reviewers are saying, then wow.
