  1. Yeah the case lowkey kinda ugly, and I have the budget to get a nicer case like the Fractal Terra.
  2. Oh wow, thanks! Yeah it's $400 USD under by budget, would it be better to get a 7800X3D?
  3. It doesn't matter, I just need a parts list that fit within the budget, since prices between US and SG are quite similar Also it's easier for you.
  4. Mini-ITX would be the place to go for me. Also, my budget is $2500 SGD or ~$1850 USD, the specific sites to get the parts from won't matter, as long as I get a parts list I can replicate here locally. I can technically spend up to $3000 SGD though, but would like to spend as little as possible
  5. Always been an NVIDIA guy, so hopefully I can stay loyal. I hear AMD has better value for money nowadays though, but I also hear the drivers are generally pretty shit and don't get to enjoy certain benefits, like DLSS, Reflex etc. as well. I may be wrong though.
  6. You got any good SFF builds that can run 1440p? Any suggestions with parts?
  7. My motivations to upgrade are also because I was planning to do it in conjunction with a new desk set-up. My current desk is quite cluttered and will need a ton of work into cable management and repositioning of things. Upgrading to a SFF PC also helps with the space constraints.
  8. There's no issue really, but I want to move to higher tier stuff since I have some money to spend - it's purely just satisfaction I suppose. Would my current set-up be good enough to handle 1440p gaming?
  9. Do you expect to find more laptops in future and continue implementing this?
  10. Sorry, specifically what did you want to do besides buying another charger?

Razer BlackShark V2 X is around $50 on Amazon right now, which is also pretty good.
  12. Gigabyte is my go-to. Also, I've heard ASUS is horrible with service and quality.
  13. Why would you want to go through the hassle? You can buy a second hand original Dell charger for your laptop for under $20. The money spent here would be much better than risking your entire laptop. (Shipping is shown as expensive as my location is in Asia)
  14. Immediately, the colors are extremely loud - I'm not sure if you're going for that theme/brand but that's something that screams to any user who opens the site. You should also look at web design principles for best UI/UX. Websites should be mobile first, meaning your design has to be scaled to mobile resolutions/screens. A prime example would be the above image, where the CTA buttons are not scaled properly.
  15. Budget (including currency): $2500 SGD / ~$1850 USD Country: Singapore Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1440p gaming (CS2, Star Citizen, R6, other AAA games) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hey all, I'm wondering if it's a good time to upgrade my system now. My budget and current build is above. Also taking this chance to move to a smaller form factor if possible. I know that the 50 series and new generation of processors is around the corner, rumored end of year? But I'm not sure if there are benefits of waiting till then; prices are likely to be higher too with new releases. Thanks!
  16. Did CS, but did not complete/dropped out. Main PC: - Ryzen 5 5600X - RTX 3060ti - 32 GB RAM Laptop (my partner uses this more than me): - Ryzen 7 5800H - RTX 3050 - 16 GB RAM
  17. Did you try a clean install (using DDU) of your drivers after upgrading to Windows 11? Also would help to know what extensions you might be running on Chrome.
  18. Not sure if this has been mentioned but what about performance/pro-level FPS headphones? Particularly the ones by AceZone. They start at 319 Euros, which is pretty insane, so I was wondering if the performance is worth the price. There's also this video by a CS tournament commentator/analyst (Launders):
  19. Any other games/apps that do this? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? Could be as simple as reconnecting the cables on your monitor. Do you also have multiple monitors on?
  20. I think I fixed it. It was my DNS settings. I was using Cloudflare's DNS and Quad9, and somehow they were causing an issue. So if you're encountering something similar, check your DNS settings.
  21. Something that can not only fit nicely into the case, but is sturdy and easy to assemble. I've found that the ones that mount directly to the PCI brackets are the most finicky, so free standing ones are the best bet. In terms of design, I'd like for my ideal GPU bracket to fit seamlessly with the case, like it's an accessory from the case or GPU manufacturer. If you look at beefy GPUs (RTX 3090s or 4090s) some manufacturers include an anti-sag bracket, especially for the higher end cards, maybe you can draw inspiration from there. Hope this helps!
  22. Bumping this thread as I am still facing the issue. I have done the following: - Reset the links on my powerline and PC - Ran /sfc scannow; no problems found - Reconnected the physical Ethernet cables on my PC Jitter is still acceptable at <5 ms, sometimes <2 ms at non-peak hours. I should also add that this issue seemingly happened out of nowhere. A couple days ago everything was fine.
  23. It's actually powerline. Also the link you sent doesn't work for me, but I used Cloudflare's speed test to check jitter and it's <5 ms. Should I restart my entire powerline system? Haven't tried that but it might be worth a shot.
  24. Okay, so this is hard to explain, but just hear me out... My PC has randomly started to feel slower/sluggish, but only doing certain tasks. Most notably, when I open Discord and Steam, these apps normally checks for updates, but this checking process seems to take way longer than what it used to be. I'm talking like from <10 seconds (if there are no updates) to >1 minute. Not a big deal, but weird. The next thing I noticed is that Steam games take a while to start updating. This is hard to explain too, but it will just be stuck on "Updating" with no progress, then fail and claim that I have no internet connection, even when my connection is perfectly fine. I've attached the screenshot showing this in Steam below, and also a Cloudflare speed test. (Yes, my Internet speeds are slow compared to some, but it should be more than fine to play/download games) I'm at a loss as to what might be causing this slow down. It's weird. So far, I've done the following troubleshooting steps: - Ensured Windows is up to date (I am on Windows 11) - Ensured GPU drivers are up to date - Scanned my PC for viruses using ESET Internet Security (all clear) - Ran ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew and ipconfig /flushdns - Ran chkdsk with no errors - Restarted my PC multiple times - Ran CrystalDiskMark on my PC for both SSDs (all performing within spec) So, yeah, it's weird and I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this further. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!
  25. Can't imagine it was easy rejecting a $100M offer But best of luck in your new role, Linus!
