  2. Thanks, Denon and Marantz were the only one that came up in my google research so far... Are they really that good? I'm quite a Sony/Pioneer Fanboy and hoped I missed something from those two. Otherwise... The new Denon 8k will be ordered as soon as it's readly available in germany
  3. Okay, I searched quite a bit for this but haven't found a good (and recent) answer... I'm looking for a new AV-Receiver which should power my 7.2 system that's connected to my old Pioneer VSX AV-Receiver. My setup right now is, that I have an old AVR which can't handle 4k 120Hz so it's connected via HDMI to my GPU but not to any screen and my two Screens are also connected to the GPU (in total 3 Display outputs are used). I am looking for an AVR that will be able to pass WQHD (for future proofing 4k would be better) HDR Signals with 100+Hz to my gaming Monitor and also power the speakers. Has anyone experience with such a setup for gaming? (Latency doesn't really matter since that can be tweaked) and no... A Headset is not the answer. I wear Headphones 8-10 Hours each day at work so I want to keep that open sound. Only thing is my personal price limit of 1200 Freedom Dollars. Thanks
  4. Thats saying it very, very, very, very, very, very, extremely kind about java
  5. Just my private Stuff (18 CPU Cores and 1 RXT 2070S dedicated to the cause)... Let's do this, and fold this Virus
  6. Okay, after Linus posted the Video about the 6 Editors Workstation being added to the team... Here are some (6) Xeon Platinum cores as well... Hopefully we will soon have a solution
  7. I'm discussing the use of my remote server (websites, personal git, irc, nextcloud and stuff) with the rest of the users to throw at folding... 8 Xeon E5-2670 v3 Cores are not much but might help as well.
  8. Folding@Home is way to established and transparent for distrust And yes, I agree with you about the impressive rigs. That's why I started a few days ago folding for myself (LTT Forum was unreachable for the team ID for some reason). Since working doesn't require my CPU or GPU that much but just needs my rig to work with an IDE, I though just f***-it, I can use the rest of the resources for a good cause.
  9. Okay, just made an LTT Forum account for this... My Computer will be on for ~16h each day anyways, since I'll be working from home for the next months anyways (boss said so)
