    No external drives. Just a SSD, 2 HDD's and a DVD burner. Windows boots fast but it takes a few seconds to get the windows logo on my screen.

    Last time i booted my pc it become better. but sometimes the POST takes a long time. I am at school now but when i am home i will measure the boot time. And what is TRIM exactly? My ssd support it but i do not no what it is. shame on me

    I have a p8z77-m motherboard from asus. Win8 certified. The boot time is relatively long. A friend of my has the pro version and other slightly other hardware configuration. He boots in a few seconds while mine boots much longer. Its not very long but it is not what i expected. What can i do to it? Btw i am a proud owner of a samsung 840 evo ssd 250 gb, so it cant be the harddrive. Sorry for my crapy english but of you have an awnser it helps me a lot. Thanks :')
