    picked up a 5950x due to their drop in price. Ran a benchmark and it sat at 58 degrees and wouldn't go above 3.8 GHZ. I Have a 360 AIO so i get the temp being good, but the Frequency definitely was not enough. So for kicks i installed Ryzen master and hit auto overclock. I was shocked after the next cinebench run! Why did it run so slow out of the box? I have PBO on in my bios so why didn't it clock higher to begin with. it never went near 90 degrees even with the auto overclock. Are they just playing it safe? Curious what kind of results you guys have gotten with a 360 AIO

    Fans set at max in bios. And this pump doesn't have any adjustments. But flow seems very fast. But this actually does make me feel a bit better. When I game it doesn't get too hot. Just under multithreaded and synthetic benches. And doesn't throttle till near the end of cinibench. Just thought I'd be getting better temps out of a custom loop. How big of a rad do you have and is your gpu in the loop too?

    I used to have a Vega 64 with a block. Temps were great. Used to have the whole system. But Got the 6800xt and this air cooler is pretty solid compared to the blower that was on the 64. redid my system to just have the cpu once I got the 6800xt. And I don't have much room/money to dump on a new water block for the 6800xt and 240 mm rad right now.

    It thermal throttles pretty quick under load and 60⁰C idle I took apart my system. I think it might be uneven mounting pressure. The thumb screws it came with are horrible. Imma try remounting and triple check that it's flat against the CPU.

    bykski branded pump. I definitely don't think flow is the problem. i use primochill and the flow is visible and seems plenty fast enough. 2 fans on the 240mm rad in push config. they are the fans that came with the lian li lancool 2 non mesh. putting my hand in front of the rad i don't feel much if anything at all.

    I have a custom water loop. my temps have always sat pretty high with it. Idk why. anyone have any reason why? it's all bykski parts, but I've seen good reviews on them. AMD 5800x fans are ramped to max in bios. my wife's $25 air cooler gets better temps... Please help thanks. Love the look of the custom loop. would like to keep.

    this is absolute bull crap. Its been 5 months since the release of AMD's 6800xt. and they have had this problem since release yet still haven't fixed the issue. I plug my soundbar with hdmi and it doesn't work with dolby atmos. when will AMD FIX THIS!!?? And yes, i have verified the soundbar works with laptop with gtx1050

    so I was gaming with my new stuff right. Looked at ryzen master to see how my CPU was doing annnnnnd my cpu is only hitting 2.6 GHZ max. can anyone tell me why? I thought PBO was supposed to take care of this? should I just overclock ?

    So I was playing fallen order and I got to this point and this happens every. Freaken. Time. I'm playing. Things are going well and then it lags like this consistently. Not only does it lag, but it interferes with all of my devices. My Bluetooth headphones disconnect and don't reconnect until I restart my computer. This is sooooo annoying. This has been going on over a week. I just wanna play this game! Snapchat-154154407.mp4

    Well thank you guys so much!!!!! It was the heatpads on the transistors. it was the contact problem after all because of the height difference of the thermal pad. Big thanks to -rascal- for figuring out the main problem. This is such a big headache solved. Thank you guys so much.

    So should I take my pads off of inductors? Or no

    So you think I should take off the thermal pads from the mosfets?

    I only put thermal paste on the gpu and hbm2

    More thermal paste didn't work. I but 109c while play call of duty

    Ok so I took it apart again and there's no freaken way thermal paste or contact is the problem

    I did twice. all thermal pads for vrms have the imprints on them. Also the vrm temps are great. They aren't the problem. Also I have now reapplied my thermal paste and I am still running into the same problem.... so thermal paste is not the problem. I think I will try thermal pad next
