  1. For a while now I have wanted to remove the on screen media controls that you find when you tap or change the volume, they are so intrusive! Would I have to be looking thru the registry!? So silly how you cant change simple things like this :L This is what I am talking about: If anyone has any knowladge on how to deal with this I will be very grateful Thanks, Lochey
  2. It was just installing, then about 10 seconds into the installation my screen went black and did not come back on. After manually restarting my PC an error code came up "VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (nvlddmkm.sys)" this happens every time I boot my pc now. Only way i can get into windows it to uninstall the driver and run off the basic windows driver.
  3. Im Installing the Old drivers right now, I will let you know what happens. If that is the fix do you recommend I go back to windows 10? i would like to be on it if possible.
  4. By older driver version do you mean an older version of the Nvidia driver? I am currently on windows 8.1 installing all the drivers as you would if it were a new pc. Just to see if the problem persists, If it is fixed then I know its windows 10 right?
  5. I have re-seated the card a few times now, triple checking that the power connections are secure. If the drivers are installed the only way that i can boot is if i get into Safe Mode
  6. If you have any Idea and suggestions, I will try. I am broken myself now, the computer beat me.
  7. HELLO! For the past 2 days I have been trying to understand what the hell is going on with my computer, It has been driving me up the wall knowing that is is stuffed when I have heaps of work to do. When did it happen? Playing CSGO what the fist time that I experienced this (Crash), It was at the very end of the game and then the scree was filled with random graphical artefacts, I rebooted and It was fine for 10 minuets, then it happened again. Only this time I was not able to get past the windows splash screen with the loading icon. The spinning icon freezes and then I have to manually restart my computer. What Have I Tried? 1. I have gone through many troubleshooting steps and even resorted to contacting Microsoft to see whats up. 2. The first step was to get into windows troubleshooting menu, booting into safe mode blah blah tried random stuff then the same thing happened. 3. Luckily I have a boot drive so I could reinstall windows with no real impact on my personal files. Doing this I installed windows 8 from the original CD that i have, then using the Windows 10 tool on a USB I upgraded to windows 10. Once in windows 10 I started installing drivers etc thinking that I am a god and i have fixed it, but once I updated the Microsoft Basic Display Adaptor to Nvidias latest driver for my 780 it was only a matter of hours until it started all over again. The exact same thing happened, random crash, reboot getting no further than the windows splash screen with the loading wheel. What Stage am I at? As it stands, I am installing windows 8.1 and act as if it was a new computer, Installing the drivers etc. Then once it is all setup then see if it happens again once i replace the Basic Display Adapter I am almost 100% that it is the Nvidia drivers that clashed with Windows 10, I am hoping that it does not happen in windows 8.1! System specs OS - Windows 8.1 64bit OEM MOBO - MSI Z87-G45 CPU - Intel Core i7 4790 GPU - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 OC 3GB PSU - Corsair CS750M 80+ Gold SSD(Boot Drive) - Kingston V300 120GB HDD's - Seagate Barracuda 2TB and some random external drive that I Frankensteined
  8. A perfect solution for people who don't want a permanent setup, but want excellent quality. Nice short film LMG and well done LG with the amazing product! I also just kinda want to have one...
  9. I added you on steam btw. For faster comms. Just to get the reg thing right
  10. Thanks so much. I'm so confused with all this
  11. It is still locked. And there is still the yellow text
  12. I uninstalled mcafee. And now it's all f***ed. It's showing a ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED error now. And the pc is not connected to anything... I can even access my routers page
  13. Ill give it a go. Ill be back with the results soon!
