  1. Yes sorry, it's the COM4 to circulator port that appears to be burnt out. The pin is kinda visible through the plastic. I guess my issue is finding the connector, I had been assuming it was a modified ATX power supply type thing. I didn't have any luck at MicroCenter, they looked at me like I was nuts to be honest. I had planned to desolder the connector and put a new one on, just finding the proper pin-out and sizing has been an issue.
  2. Yeah it's a pretty old board from a bioreactor controller. I have a multimeter and can test everything, and have done some basic checking. I'm just not sure that we can repair that connection without changing the type of connection on the board which would require a different cable as well which isn't ideal
  3. Hey everyone, I work in a lab and do a bunch of repairs on some of the older instruments to keep them in service. We had some issues with a power board that I pulled out but can't identify the type of connection, it's slightly different than a standard ATX power connector. I'm hoping to be able to replace the component, it'd basically save a $20,000 machine from being trash. They're all pretty old so there isn't any support from the manufacturer anymore. I've attached am Imgur album with some pictures. I'm happy to answer any questions that might help, thanks! https://imgur.com/a/hQR5GrG
  4. ah thank you! he did mention both at the same time so that makes sense. haven't messed with BOINC yet, I'll give that try. thanks again!

  6. sorry to repost this, but is anyone else still missing a fair amount of points from late last week? I'm getting updates now, but there's a day or so where the WUs never hit the stats page. The log didn't show issues
  7. is anyone still missing a fair amount of points from a couple days ago? I've posted a few times here, but it really seems like 8+ hours of 4x2080ti folding is just lost to the ether
  8. I'm really starting to think all the WU's from yesterday till this morning might just be lost... other people my team are updating and it's crediting some WUs to my old team under my username with nothing to the new team i had set up yesterday
  9. your laptop team number is Grammar Nazis. They're different numbers
  10. yeah the logs show the proper PPD, and the config file is fine - i just like seeing the actual points hit before i really relax knowing it's set
  11. yeah i'm definitely feeling it, i have 4 2080ti's running since yesterday and no idea if it's working properly since none of the points have hit yet lol
  12. i think the stats server is just all around having trouble. i haven't gotten credit for WUs from yesterday yet
  13. thank you! i tried scanning through the forums quick and didn't see a bunch of talk about it so i was wondering haha
  14. Is anyone else having problems with their work units not making into updates? Neither EOC nor the F@H stats site show the amount of points/WU I expect based on the logs
