    PSU cables

well thanks for this but i was looking more for personal experience. like which ones have you dealt with? were they any good? which ones would you avoid? etc..

    PSU cables

yes i know that but i didnt see any ones for sale from cablemod or performance PCs (even though performance just sells cablemod) the PSU is relatively old when you talk about PC parts. its 5 years old which is not old but old enough that the company no longer sells it as they have new ones that are better.
  3. not sure if this has been posted before or if this is the right topic to post but besides cablemod and performance pcs. what other PSU cable companies have people heard about, use or know about?

    need help

well for me. my first PC was a prebuild from 2012, in 2018 i decided i wanted to upgrade it so i bought parts and did it. now in 2023 i bought new parts but i dont have the motivation to actually build it and that is what i need.

    need help

this is off topic because it doesnt fit anywhere else and its not really asking for help. i bought a AMD bundle kit back in August but i dont have any motivation to tear my old system down and rebuild it with the new parts. i want it done but i cant just seem to make myself "ok, its time to rebuild the system. i guess part of my issues is that the PC is inside of the corsair obsidian 1000D super tower case and that is the biggest case you can buy and as such, its a pretty heavy beast so i guess that is part of my problem. any advice on what makes you motivated to build your PC or do anything?
  6. as of this moment, no. i have been waiting on something else i ordered to come in so i can upgrade. i decided to switch from intel to AMD because the 13th gen intel CPUs are kind of hot running, not just the 13900k
  7. that is what i was thinking. what stores are in your area?
  8. oh ok. my mistake then. currently i have a z370 from MSI from 2018 but recently bought a asus b650e-f gaming wifi from micro center as part of a bundle and the bundle included Gskill flareX5 64GB of 6000 DDR5
  9. your board is fine. on the box where it says "high qaulity onboard audio design" it says that it has LED audio trace lighting. so that orange light is the path the audio signal takes and to where. you might be able to go into BIOS or the RGB light control for the board if you want to turn it off.
  10. i mean people here usually ask a question like "Does anyone have experience with the ROG Strix B650-A Gaming WiFi or any other Asus AM5 motherboard?" and then say something like "i need help with doing something (like how do i change the RGB) etc. they usually ask for help with an issue they are having.
  11. i am posting this here because i dont feel like it belongs anywhere else but do you people prefer to do your online shopping and having what you bought shipped to your home or do you prefer to go to a store and look at the item, hold it in your hands and see if that will work for you? i am kind of a in store person because i want to know that not only will the item work for me but that also i will not have to return it because it was damaged upon delivery and then have to wait weeks more for a replacement. specifically on big ticket items like TVs, GPUs, gaming consoles, phones any most other things. what are your opinions?

    rank

just keep replying in conversations, being labeled as the solution to someone elses problems, having people react to your comments, basically just dont be an ass or a troll and you will rank up but ranks are useless here, they are just a status symbol with no extras attached to them.
  13. yes i have used that one before but was a little too much for me to justify at the time. i guess with it now being $100 if it last 5 years that is $20 per year which is a pretty good deal but my issue was the dust and debris that gets into the supports for the ball.
  14. yes you read the title right. i need a trackball because my PC is in my room and i have limited space so my monitor is a TV and my PC tower is 10ft from my bed and optical mice dont work well if at all on the surfaces of a bed so looking for a trackball mouse as it will work. preferably a wireless as i dont want more cables cluttering up my room. i have the logitech ergo m575 but its having some issues.
  15. you think they might be able to with the new corsair icue link system? it doesnt have an ARGB header. well at least the AIOs dont. PSU cable for power, USB header plug and CPU pump fan header cables.
  16. if you dont have an ARGB header then you cant control the RGB as far as i can tell. the A is for addressable or controllable RGB. without that header, you just have what amounts to LEDs in a case. again as far as i can tell.
  17. he is running 13900k Msi suprim liqud x 4090 Corsair 4 16gb sticks of 6000mhz ddr5 Nzxt z790 motherboard Nzxt 1200 watt powersupply Nzxt kracken z73 360mm but you can easily see the RAM issue when you have a cheap laptop only running 4GB and upgrade it to 8+. not only because of speed and space but you will able to do more

    icue link

there isnt. if there was i wouldnt be asking. is the new corsair icue link h170i RGB.
  19. well everything effects those stress test programs. if the sticks dont effect the score than getting 2 or more sticks of 32Gb or 64Gb each would increase the score by a lot as far as i can tell but i dont stress my PC.
  20. you might want to watch some tech reviewers like jaystwcents, linus gamers nexus and many others as they all say the same thing that the DIMM slots all run the same and that you are dividing the power to each stick, the frequency and the overall speed.
  21. with 80-90 temps if you are running like cinabench or any one of the other stress testing programs then i can see that but just normal every day use, no that is not normal. edit: 4 sticks of 16GB RAM? so you are running 64GB? well there is one issue right there on the score. running all 4 DIMM slots limits the speed of the RAM basically to the base speed as far as i know

    icue link

anyone have an icue link aio? i made this in another section but i was wrong about it completely, i thought it was posted here and therefore already answered but searching for it, it doesnt exist so i was wrong in where it was posted where i saw it. yes i know its confusing. what i am talking about is that the newish icue link AIOs from corsair do not come with a CPU fan header cable because its now a literally all in one where its one cable going to the hub and onto the motherboard to a USB header. so i am wondering if anyone has had any issues with this AIO system and how did you fix it? i have one and i am about to start upgrading my PC so i would like know.
  23. the AIO has no set orientation that it has to be in. its just not as effective to have it most ways other than the rad at the top of the case and unless you plan on using those other two RAM slots (i wouldnt) then there is no issue with having it like how it is in the manual. the main thing is how are the temps?
