  1. So aggravated right now. I took it back because I figured it was a dead drive and they apparently tested it on one of there systems and it worked fine according to them and won't exchange or let me return it.
  2. Just double checked and the latest BIOS is installed.
  3. Hey I bought a new NVMe SSD (WD blue 1tb) today after my secondary HDD failed today. Went to install it and now PC will not go past the "ASUS push f2 or del to enter BIOS" screen whenever the drive is installed. I tried putting the current NVMe I have into the other slot and it boots no problem, but any time that second new one is installed no matter what slot it wont even let me into BIOS. Starting to think that it is just a dead in box drive. Any ideas before I go through the pain in the but process of trying to get a new one out of Canada Computers? System specs: AMD Ryzen 3600 Asus X570 Prime-P motherboard Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4 3600MHz 500gb WD black NVMe SSD - Windows 10 installed Antec Earthwatts 750W PSU
  4. Recently the PC I built for my brother wont boot past the BIOS. The system was working fine for months and just all of a sudden is having the problem. I have tried clearing the CMOS twice and still nothing. Also have tried booting to a USB with windows 8 on it to try a fresh install but it still just kicks right to BIOS still. System is AMD 6300 in an Asus board, R9 280, 8 gigs of ram and a Sandisk 120gb SSD with an Antec 750w power supply.
  5. Ive re set the cpu and ram more than once, tried clearing bios also, going to take mobo out of case tomorrow and try it just on an anti-static bag. If it doesnt work Im going to guess it must be something dead on motherboard and go from there. Ill update either way. Thanks for the help max /cheers
  6. Just took some corsair vengence LP 1600mhz ram (which is what I had in this motherboard last time I used it) from my server and its still doing same thing
  7. I literally had to turn off my one computer that the ram was installed in (and obviously working) to take it out and put it in the new system, I dont think that is what the problem is
  8. Just finished checking all slots with one dimm and pushing mem ok. Still did exact same thing.
  9. Neither can I, it doesnt show it in the manual...
  10. Motherboard was working in a previous built (a few months ago) fine but the CPU is brand new, any way I can narrow it down??
  11. System is as follows: Intel i3-3240 processor Kingston 128g SSD Coolermaster 550w power supply Asus r9 270 OC 8gigs G skill 2133 ram (from previous build) Asus p8p67 motherboard (from previous build) Corsair 600t white (from previous build) Just finished putting together a new system for my brother using a bit of hardware I had sitting around. For some reason the system wont post. I have tried clearing CMOS, reinstalling ram and using memok switch but the system still hangs. The diagnostic board shows a 55 or ss code which isnt in the manual and the diag_mem LED stays on solid. The ram was literally taken out of my personal PC which was running 5 mins before I installed in new system so I cant imagine that its bad ram.
  12. Congrats on 1 million Linus! I will always remember one of the first Linus videos I watched he was wearing socks and sandals and I called him out on it only to be told that is how he rolls. I cant imagine what people that stuble upon his channel think today. Can't wait to see your 2 mil subscriber video and would love to hear your opinion / review of the Audio - GD NFB-12. http://www.audio-gd.com/Pro/Headphoneamp/NFB12/NFB12EN.htm
  13. I moved to a new house this weekend and got pretty lucky that Rogers offers a 250mbit plan so I went with it. One of my computers that I just use mostly just as a media server for some reason wont go above 20-30mbits on a hard wired connection. I have tried everything I can think of to solve it and can't figure it out. I have the Rogers modem in bridge mode hooked up to a D-Link DIR-868L router and have the PC hardwired to it. The PC is an AS-Rock FM2 mini itx board running windows 8. I have rebooted the PC, modem and router. I took the ethernet cable out of the PC and put it into my laptop and was got a speed test of 320mbit so I know its not the coard or the router its pluged into. I put in a old network card I had laying around and also tried a USB to ethernet adapter and still same results. Also tried re-installing drivers and no good. When I copy a file from my server to my main computer it was going at 800+mbit so its only the internet that is being gimped. My best guess is some sort of setting is off, anyone have any ideas?
  14. My favorite thing about the Z2 is the awesome power button, and the thing I like about d-brand is that they let you make your phone not the same as every other person in the world that has your phone.
