  1. it is a good build, but yes everyone is right the best upgrade to the system for the long run would be a better psu. Other than that I think you should see how far you can push that i5 with the 212 evo.
  2. Even Intel are making more cpu sku's with more cores and hyperthreading enabled. Current games out now are starting to leverage a lot more cpu cores. These things are happening and have been in the works for a while.
  3. honestly i think if your asking this question you should actually be looking at the 1600 which is 6 cores 12 threads to fully leverage the argument that youll be getting better performance over time as optimizations come in.
  4. Yes this mod would be for an e liquid vaporizer. Which surprisingly can get quite complex and have some really good results, as explained if there is no interest in the subject I will not post anything else
  5. So like the title states this is a different kind of mod. I will post it if you guys want but you will have to express that interest in the comment section, also I had no idea where else to put this. This would be a thread for a Box Mod for a Vaporizer. I would also need some help figuring out the wiring and everything for the design, however if there is interest I will post my current diagram for the set up. Just wondering how many vapers there are on the forum.
  6. On amazon there are Acer K272hul 1440p AHVA monitors going for $290 each. Seems like a good deal to me. http://www.amazon.com/Acer-K272HUL-bmiidp-27-inch-Widescreen/dp/B00JB6HCIC/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1417164051&sr=8-7&keywords=acer+h276hl
  7. I can afford so I will go for it. 5820k all the way.
  8. I don't really think $50 is way more expensive.
  9. Just wanting to know what people think is better for a gaming, streaming, video editing rig. Probably even 3d rendering. I'm leaning towards the 5820k myself but seeing what the community says.
  10. The only thing might be Planetside 2, but it will not compare to the depth of GGO. We will have to wait for games like that to come out.
  11. Thanks peeps for the suggestions. I am going to work on this project. You guys were helpful
  12. My goals are simply to expand the genre with new ideas. I know mmo's are extremely difficult to make. As of now I am not a one man team. But I don't have the largest staff. Only about 4 people in total. However others have expressed interest on being part of the project. I have been working with the ideas for years now and have up until now been working on my programming abilities. The budget can be expanded over time. Although that's a big portion of the game it's not really a problem to me because I will be able to come up with at least a decent amount of money. My current goal is to make a simple small portion of what the game would be to be Kickstarted. If I can get a small amount of game play out I would be happy. I'm not even looking for the multiplayer aspect, just kind of a small action fighting style game with skills to allow people to feel excited about the ideas I have.
  13. I do have the basic run down of where to start. I'm more looking for how someone else has seen the development process start in there particular project. I can get basic information on my own. The game engine thing has been a debate for myself so I decided to ask if someone else had an opinion.
  14. If there is someone that has worked on an mmo or similar game genre I would greatly appreciate any advice on where to get started and what the process was like during the development. Please do not reply with, "If you don't already know this you will never make the game", or any other discouraging remarks. Just real advice please. Also if anyone can either recommend a game engine that's best for mmo's or if I should just make my own that would be helpful
  15. The podcast really only added to what I already knew to be true. This game will have to have a base before I get any help and I expected this. I actually don't want help from the ground up. I want to see what might work first but thanks for all the replies.
