  2. Hey Guys, i am helping a friend troubleshooting his pc. i helped him ascend to his new rig over the phone, we live quiet far away, 6+ hour drive. Everything worked out great, however when he started updating windows 7 Ultimate, he told me after many updates it appeared that his "desktop window manager" crashes on startup Further investigation told me that in services.msc the dwm.exe is usually started on automatic, if i tried to forcereboot the service, it insta crashed. Summary: Windows 7 Ultimate current Mainboard drivers from the 19.09.2015 (MSI Z97 Gaming 5) GTX660 - Driver 355.XX (20.09.2015) I advised him to do following things: Reinstall the Graphics Driver cmd.exe as administrator -> chkdsk /r windows+r -> sfc /scannow I still have to wait for an anwser after those things i advised. However i am curious and was thinking. Its the same OS that i am running. could i just export my dwm.exe from system32 and copy it over his dwm.exe? Would that fix anything or possibly break everything? Or do you guys have magic dust for me to repair it, that be nice too Anyways, greets, Hanazaki
  3. Hi Guys, i was wondering if it will be even available here? we still got no launch and i have no idea how to get my hands on one, but i really want the phone. Got any ideas when to launch or expect/to get it now... because importing a device usually costs alot
  4. I want to craft it myself together, and tablet aint 24 inch
  5. Its all about the ghetto solution and reusing existing parts
  6. im thinking debezeling the montor, so i just have the monitor unit, ghetto mount the vesa on it (somehow but thats the least problem). If thats assembelled, put on fibreglass to shield from humidity, nows the question if fiber can transport the heat a bit away. Or make a "tunnelopening" with the fiber, then run a nice looking tube with the vesa arm inside away from the humitiy and for dissapating the heat. Would that be viable?
  7. As you see, i face many problems. I live on rent, so i am not allowed to cut out parts in the size of my screen in the wall, or my landlord will have my ass
  8. My fear is, that the eletronics will suffocate due to no exhaust option, or will they be ok?
  9. I plan to stick it on a vesa style mount to move it if i lay down in the bathtub or ankle it. A big box would certainly look kind of ugly
  10. Hey Guys, Last Night in the Shower, i really wanted to watch me some Dragonball in the Shower. As i plan to Exchange my current desktop Monitors for a new one, i want to use the left over Monitor for the Bathroom / Shower. As it stand, i like a bit of crafting myself but i have no idea in the world how i can realize this. The Monitor itself wont get in touch with any water, since i shower in a bathtub. Theres the problem with vapor setting itself on the Monitor possibly. If debezeling and sealing up all holes a option? How about overheating issues because as we know we all like to shower a with warm water and the room temperature rises accordingly so will i face a heat problem too? Its just random brainstorming at this point but if you have some advice, id appreciate it. Greets, Hanazaki
