  1. hey has anyone got a fix for this error? I got a new M.2 for my amd rig. went from 250GB to 1TB. went to reinstall my drivers after Clean OS Win 10 install and I keep getting this.
  2. yeah i figured out last night while doing more reading up on "how to dos" that i would need more space for both so i redid the partions so each has around 100gb. my original problem was that i did not know how to make a live usb. that took me 4 hours. now its figuring out gnu grub ver. 2.02 apparently the ubuntu game pack edition i selected does not auto load into the simple interface i was expecting. i am not a coder to be clear and command line prompt is not easy for me. i understand others grasp it very well.
  3. hello everyone. new guy here i made a topic thread in Software> operating systems titled "need help with a dual boot setup first time pc builder" If yall could help out a new guy to this wonderful world of the PC, he would be tickled pink. thanks
  4. Hey guys just built my first pc. my system has ryzen 3 2200g with integrated radeon graphics asus a320i-k prime itx motherboard 16GB cosair vengence DDR4 ram timings set to 15-15-15-36. m.2 nvme 256GB(will update storage in future) silver stone 500W 80+Gold. PC is mainly for gaming but i will throw in other work loads like CAD projects or streaming. I have partitioned my m.2 for 30gb for windows 10 and 32gb for linux with the rest to be shared access between the two OS.... at least that was the plan. I have windows 10 successfully on its portion. but i am having trouble figuring out how to get ubuntu onto its portion of the m.2. ive been reading up on how do dual boot but its over my head. would appreciate any advise or guide to help me get this done.
  5. I'm okay with 2nd gen for now. I'll upgrade to something better when I've got more to spend on it. Any recommendations? My local microcenter salesman didn't have any good ones when I asked. I have toyed with just running lines to an external AIO setup. It's an option to me if not pretty. Yup totally agree.
  6. Hello new to the Forum for posting, but have been reading and following along for a couple of years now. I recently saw Linus mention the "AF" part number for the 2700x and i found it just now on amazon again. I would like to know 2 things. First which mATX / ITX motherboards from tier C would best fit this CPU? https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-Processor-Wraith-Cooler/dp/B07B428M7F?imprToken=kjQZd3fFpjRo3G9SxqSW8w&slotNum=32&SubscriptionId=AKIAITHHWCUVYOLSQOWQ&tag=communityhire-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B07B428M7F&th=1 Second Is it worth liquid cooling with the Raven RVZ02 Mini-Tower Case from SilverStone that i have? or should I get something else that will allow for bigger motherboards? This will be my first PC build and id like it to last a few years before needing to upgrade. I plan to medium CAD work(up to 30GB file size) with it and play VR.
