  1. Nobody is claiming game devs should not be allowed to do what they want. What we are saying is it's BS to push a political narrative through entertainment! The Nazis did crap like this. And it eventually did nothing but destroy. If your going to use a trans character in a game then use the character in a believable situation. But nobody is going to buy the reality of a trans gender during the industrial revolution! That's just insane! It figures your a moderator!
  2. And Syndicate uses the old Black Flag/Watch Dogs engine, Whats your point? Just admit you wanted to brag instead of making a point!
  3. You got to be kidding! <Sniff Glue much?
  4. Oh C'Mon! You got to be kidding me! Really? Simply because you go to a class, Does not suddenly make you a expert on everything. Any idiot knows simple mathematics! Stop pretending to be a intellectual. Your not fooling anyone! I hate to be mean! I really do! But fake intellectuals are so annoying! And it's for your own good! Trust me!
  5. Here you go! ASUS Strix R9 390X for $389 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121973&cm_re=390X-_-14-121-973-_-Product Triple fanned and looks beautiful! Should stay cool too. And a Hardocp review: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2015/08/17/asus_r9_390x_strix_directcu_iii_8g_oc_review/1#.VjzaTNn4R8s
  6. I can't understand why you would sale a perfectly good R9 290, A GTX 970 would be almost identical in performance. The 970 is a good card, I like mine very much. But if I was you, I would go with a 390 or 390X if they are cheaper. Also your X4 925 is more than enough for gaming, Just buy a cheap cooler and overclock it. The new Intel CPU's are a joke! They are not much faster than the older Lynnfield and SandyBridge chips. I honestly should have kept my old i5-750 and bought a cooler for it! But new stuff is always fun and addictive. Skylake does have DDR4, But so far it has not proved to be any faster than DDR3.
  7. I don't know who you are! I suppose you're one of those power tripping moderators that likes to turn forums into moderators moderating moderators! But this is just a computer forum! And I posted it in general discussion because that is what it is! I have a life and do not have time to deal with stupidity like this! If you want to ban me then ban me! But I will post when I want and were I want until I get banned! And you will like it! Because I do not grovel to idiots!
  8. Thanks, I was thinking maybe of possibly dumping my loud Antec 300, But I am cheap and do not want to spend much, And I could care less about front USB 3 plugs. Front USB 2 is fine, If I need USB 3 I can just use the slot on the back. Is this case any good? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147023&ignorebbr=1 It says it comes with two fans installed, I just want something that keeps my GTX 970 cool but does not make my ears ring. Also I have to finish building my nephews Rig out of my old i5 750 and R9 270, So I could just put those old parts in the old Antec for him.
  9. Anyone know of any cheap case fans that are quiet? I am still using my old Antec Three Hundred case. Yes I know it is a bit dated now. But I love my case. The only real problem with it is the loud fans. I mean they are loud! And most of the fans are still the original Antec fans. Since my sleeve bearing Antec fans have lasted so long. I do not mind having sleeve bearing fans as long as they are quiet. So I want cheap. I mean cheap! But quiet. What do you guys recommend?
  10. I would not worry about it! As long as everything is running correctly and you see DX12 under dxdiag, You are fine. GPU-Z only shows DX11.2 on my GTX 970 too. I think GPU-Z either has not updated that yet, Or it could be a repeat of what they did in the past. I remember during the Nvidia 600 series and the AMD 7000 series, when DX11.1 came out. GPU-Z at first displayed DX11.1 on all kepler chipped 600 series cards, But they later changed it to show DX11 instead of 11.1. Their reasoning was because they claimed the 600 series did not fully support DX11.1 (even though it did in gaming). The 900 series GM204 chip does however fully support DX12, especially since the GM204 chip was used to show the first example of DX12, But I think the people at GPU-Z have a bit of prejudice towards Nvidia cards. So don't expect them ever to change it!
  11. All I know is today Rockstar is down for maintenance. And I can't play story mode! There is no option at all to play the story mode with no connection to Rockstar! And we actually had to pay $60 bucks for this crap! I am done with anything Rockstar now! They will never get another dime from me!

    R7 370 ?

It is supposedly a Pitcarin Pro / Curaco Pro chip, So that would make it the 7870/R9 270, So if this is true at all, Being branded as a R7 would mean more bang for buck, But yeah it would be better bang for buck if the 280/7950 was re-badged as a R7. I just hope AMD has something else up their sleeve than more re-brands. Because if they don't this could mean even worse debt for AMD, And it would be bad for all gamers. If they do re-badge, They need to offer much more than just a step up from last gen, Meaning the R9 280's chip should replace the R7 265, And the R9 285's Chip should replace the R9 270, And the 280X's chip should replace the R9 270X, And the R9 290's chip should replace the R9 280's spot and so forth. Otherwise if they go again with the Pitcarin/Curaco as their mid range they will be making a huge mistake. The Pitcarin/Curaco R7 265/R9 270 chips should replace the R7 260's. But even that could fail, Since I know little about marketing. Good Luck AMD!
  13. I think the old engine was nice, But then I am a Fallout Junkie!
  14. Looks they are using the same engine too but updated it, That will be nice for the modders.
  15. No way! YOu made my decade! Hell I was actually playing New Vegas this morning! I still play the hell out 3 and NV.
