  1. Thanks! I thought I needed to do it that way, but just wasn't sure. It does still work on one cable though. However, I haven't actually done anything on it yet and haven't put any stress on it either.
  2. I have a Nvidia RTX 3080 ti GPU and a Corsair RM 1000x PSU. The PSU's PCIE cables have two plugs on the video card side. My question is, is it ok to plug both of those PCIE plugs from one cable into the video card power adapter or should I use two dedicated PCIE ports on/from the PSU?
  3. Ok. New board at least took the BIOS updates. However, as far as the end results, nothing changed. Still no post, no monitor. During this time though, the RGB on the Stealth Cooler went out. Now, I have a legitimate reason to send the Ryzen 5 3600 back. I'm going back to Intel...
  4. Replacement board was delivered today. At work at the moment but, it's ON when I get home. Wish me luck guys!
  5. I have tried different usbs and ports just to make sure. This board is just a pos. Hope the replacement works out better. If that one doesn't work either, I guess I'll try a b-550 next. Never ending problems every time I have to deal with AMD products.
  6. Yes Sir, I tried two different USB's, still nothing.
  7. See , that was the port I though it was which made sense. That is not the bios flash port. Tried it over and over with no luck. I did a little more digging and found out, that was wrong. In your picture the BIOS port is actually circled number 10.
  8. Yeah! Something just isn't right with this board. I have tried numerous BIOS now, all with the same results. Then in the middle of all that. The rgb on the stealth cooler went out. Fans still works though. It's like "REALLY!". Got a replacement coming tomorrow. This is what I get when I cheap out and buy AMD.
  9. I can't get to the BIOS, the motherboard doesn't recognize the processor. That's why I need to update the BIOS
  10. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I get the new BIOS then I run the rename tool. Put the usb into the FLBK usb port. Then hold the button down for three seconds until it starts flashing. It's supposed to keep blinking faster until it then goes out, The Motherboard is an Asus Tuf Gaming Plus II - microATX with a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 When I do this, the light starts flashing! However, as soon as I let the button go, the light turns solid green and stays that way. In the videos I have watched so far. Nobody ever says what a solid green light means... Any help?
  11. Ok, with all the hype on how much more powerful the new 30 series cards are compared to the 2080ti. My question is... How does a single 30's series card compare to a duel 2080ti setup?
  12. I just finished putting my system together a little over a week ago. Everything was working well and life was good for a brief moment. However, after a few days all of the sudden I can barely pay a game at all before it starts stuttering and frezing up. Unfortunately, when it starts, it usually doesn't stop and the only way out is through the task manager. I have tried reinstalling drivers (ver. 445.75) and have had no luck resolving this problem. Anybody else experiencing this issue and does anyone have a solution? System: Asus Maximus XI Hero Intel i9-9900k 64GB Dram 3200mhz Asus ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti
  13. Hello ladies and gentlemen, Hope you are well and safe from all the crazy stuff going on. I have a couple questions for you. Below is a list of CPU temps while the system is running at idle. My system is running an Intel i9-9900k with an Asus ROG Ryujin 360mm liquid cooler. My questions are: Are these temps normal at idle? What is the max temp that my processor can handle under load? The reason I ask is it seems a little hot to me. Plus one of the games I have been playing is "NFS - Payback" and I have seen the temp get up to 160-170 F range. I have looked all through the bios and there doesn't seem to be a way to set the fan curves for the Noctura fans that come with the Ryujin. Besides trying to adjust the fan speeds, I have also pulled the cooler off and cleaned it off and reapplied the thermal paste. However, the CPU temp remained the same even after the reapplication.
  14. Wait... Damn, no it's not going to work. The tabs where the cable latches to the plug need two be on the bottom of the plug, Not the top like in the picture. Thanks for your help!
  15. No. I won't have the GPU till Wednesday. However, I watched one of the JayzTwoCents videos about this card and the tabs appeared to face the proper direction but, I might be wrong though. I was hoping someone here might have tried it at some point.
  16. Anyone know if the EVGA PowerLink will work with the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti OC Edition?
  17. Well folks, I don't know who bought these cards all out, since they are all out of stock. However, Newegg is charging a fortune for them. Hell, you could buy a nice house at that price!
  18. Well it put up a fight but, I got the beast all secured now!

Hopefully, I will get a video card soon! ? Case still looks empty without it!

Really have to thank Linus though. Watching the LTT videos got my blood flowing to make this happen... Thanks Linus!

  22. Hey guys, I'm not planning on doing any overclocking on my own. I wouldn't have any idea where to even start on that. Like I said before, I'm currently using a 12 year old computer. To me this new computer is going to be fast as hell on it's own. I may have grandiose ideas... Chances are it will just be air cooled. I would like to have the option to do more with what I have in the future though. Right now just a solid system to start with is my goal.
  23. Here is a little example of what I'm thinking. It's photo shopped.
