  1. So I just moved from Windows to Manjaro. I mainly use my laptop connected to a monitor, keyboard and mouse. So I hooked up all of them. And I shut it down. After booting up, it gets stuck on either the LEGION logo or a black screen but only when the keyboard is connected. I turned it off with the power button and only disconnected the keyboard and it booted up like normal. How do I fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Try obtaining another "devious" copy from another source. There's a chance it might work on your laptop too.
  3. Did you install DirectX and what kind of copy of the game do you own? (Disc or Steam or something else)?
  4. There's no good way of protecting an ethernet cable from lightning. Lay a fiber cable and use a fast ethernet media converter as shown in this video (credits to The 8 Bit Guy). Skip to 5:58 Tour of Home Network 2020
  5. Hi everyone, I'm loving the legion Y540, it's my first gaming laptop and I just had a question, the games don't run appropriately on battery and lag a lot (heavy games become unplayable) but when I connect the power brick, they run fantastically. So my question is, is this normal for gaming laptops?
  6. I'll be honest. I'm on an imac through bootcamp. Should I reinstall windows?
  7. This issue started happening yesterday. First, I thought it was only red dead 2, but then I figured out it is only newer games such as watch dogs 2, red dead 2 that have this issue. whenever I try exiting them, my whole computer freezes and the hard disk or something seems to be spinning. I tried an older game like mafia 2 and it dosen't have this issue. I have tried alt+tab, alt f4 and everything but it dosent help. I have to force shut down. The only workaround I have is to alt+enter and exit through windowed mode. Please help me, I've asked on reddit and no one seems to give a crap there.
  8. Hi y'all. I finally bought a new laptop to produce music after my old trash died. I have an ultrawide monitor and some used keyboard/mouse. I was looking for a new keyboard and a mouse that will keep me comfortable during production and preferably one with configurable extra keys. Thanks.
