really good app that allows you to change the fan control of your laptop

Maybe a faulty sleep/wake sensor. The XPS isn't know with very good quality control...
Or maybe a software problem look at this it may help

Are you sure you haven't shorted something on the motherboard? Did you touch it with something metal?

Add this to your context menu and the use it on the drive/folders/files you want to access/move/etc.

You can try this, right click on the drive and follow the steps:

Or add this to the context menu, then right click on the drive and select "Take Ownership":

I think you mean Surface Go, because no surface laptop comes with intel pentium processor.
Try this:
or this:

I'll agree with @SupaKomputa for the Matebook and i'll suggest to look in to the Lenovo Ideapad 5 14' with the ryzen 4000 series too.
-
I'll go for a laptop with AMD Ryzen 5 4000 Series, but not with this HP, the build quality isn't great. Maybe look for the new Huawei Matebook 14 or Lenovo Ideapad 5 14'. If the touchscreen is must for you i think the matebook will be awesome.

The same as for the hp. The surface laptop go has only 12.9 inch screen and that is pretty small in my opinion, 1080 resolution. The cheapest option comes only with 4GB of ram and 64GB of eMMC storage with is slow in comparison with the NVMe in the matebook. You'll have to go for the $700 version with 8GB and proper 128GB SSD. It has 10th gen Intel Core i5 and i think that the ryzen in the matebook is better (runs cooler and more power efficient).

Make a bootable usb drive using microsoft media creation tool and try to fix the current installation and if it's not successful just reinstall windows.
-
The huawei is better build quality, bigger and better screen and comes with a tablet and keyboard as gifts. I'll go for it!
-
I'll recommend this. It has better processor, more storage and it's better bang for the buck. You can switch easily Windows 10 S to Windows 10 Home.

Geek Uninstaller is the best alternative for Windows.
-
Try to reset the bios like that first, if this doesn't work try method 2.
Method 2:
-
Buy newer one. Look at the new ThinkPad T14 with Ryzen 4000.
-
I'll recommend the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14' with Ryzen 5 4500U. It's new, good looking and will be great for a couple of years. It's a little bit pricier but worth it.
-
Why not try Windows 10?
-
You can use Lenovo Vantage Software to change between these settings. You can download it trough MS Store here.

Thanks for the reply might actually use this method. Btw since this the laptop's windows license is registered to my Microsoft account could I "restore" the same license if I logged in.
Yes. Just log in with the same account and windows will be activated again.

Go for the ryzen 5 4500u, it's newer and better.

I really do not think that is possible. I would suggest just making a virtual-machine, install XP in it and using that for your label-printer.
I'm running my old printer like that and just use google cloud print to send the files to the printer, it's really simple.
Weird glitch on my desktop any help?

It's seem like your TAB button is stuck on the keyboard. Thy to disconnecting it to check if this is happening again.
