  1. So I own a 15" Dell Inspiron 5567 and have had it for many years now. It's got an i7 7th gen and a stock AMD graphics card in it with 16gb of RAM. So basically enough to get by with some light video and photo editing if I don't mind the fans kicking up. The only major hardware upgrade I have made is replacing the stock 1tb HDD for a 1tb SSD. When I open up the computer however, I see that there is an open, unused RAM slot. I only have the two slots and the other one has 16gb of RAM running through it. So my question is (as someone who is still learning about computer hardware), can I just buy a matching 16gb stick of RAM and pop it in or is my device at max capacity as Cruial's website might lead me to believe? My fear is that I'll purchase the memory stick but then my laptop not accept it.
