1080p sounds just fine. 1440 was wishful thinking considering I know nothing about monitors. Just hoping I can get something higher than 60hz.

I'm upgrading from an Alienware 17 r3 Laptop. I'm trying to have it run games like Red Dead 2 or anything that I interesting in the future, while also looking pretty nice. I'm thinking of going with: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor be quiet! Dark Rock 4 CPU Cooler Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Crucial MX500 500 GB 2.5" Asus GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB STRIX GAMING Advanced Video Card Corsair iCUE 220T RGB ATX Mid Tower Case Corsair RM (2019) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply Corsair iCUE SP 120 RGB Pro w/Lightning Node CORE 52 CFM 120 mm Fans I'm not sure on things like the Dark Rock Pro 4 because I know its huge and might block the ram. Not sure how much I'll need on a boot drive for windows and such, so I went with 500 GB.
