  1. I now seacrhed through the entire web and I still can not get it working. My xbox one controller is not showing up in my bluetooth settings on a dongle that I recently bought. I was able to connect it just fine on my really old laptop taht had bluetooth and even on my iphone XS it shows up immediately, but not on my desktop. The dongle is Gembird BTD-MINI5. I could not find any drivers and even on their website it shows that drivers ARE NOT REQUIRED. Please, I am just desperate now. I already refunded one wi-fi+BT PCIe card (that I bought just for this controller as well) and the bluetooth there did not even work.
  2. It turns out the nvidia driver (511.79, latest driver to date) is having the most delay. Searched for a fix online. I updated my BIOS, re-checked that all game boosting that my MSI MPG B550 gaming plus supports are turned on, I set my nvidia global settings to "preffer maximal power" and still nothing. I mean, what else should I do? Download some driver checker tool to confirm that I have all the latest sound drivers? EDIT: Installed driver booster program (installed tons of bloatware afterwards), some drivers were out of date so I updated them. Same result, nothing.
  3. Things I have tried so far: 1. Installed my MOBO manufacturer's audio driver 2. Disabled all enhancements 3. Tried a different audio format and disabled exclusive mode 4. I have a ultimate power mode (so minimum processor state is at 100%) I experience this crackling in two games: F1 2021 and Boneworks. Obviously I use my headphones while playing F1 2021 and oculus quest 2 built in speakers for Boneworks while playing on oculus link (so it is definitely NOT a headphone issue). It always happens when there is too much going on. In F1 2021 it occurs from time to time but on one particular circuit (Monaco), it just will not stop crackling to the point that it is almost unplayable with headphones. In Boneworks it happens when I walk into an area where for example there is some machinery producing sounds continuously (it does not stop producing that sound) and then the crackling happens. I am now just deperate and I do not even know what to do anymore. Every troubleshooting tip just did not work and it was just same as before. Please help.
  4. Thanks everybody for your recommendations, but I am just dumb. I have my HDD large enough to store everything I need from that SSD, so now that I copied everything, I will just reinstall windows 10 and wait for true support from devs and companies.
  5. I have my windows key connected to my microsoft account, so it is going to work if I just reinstall Win10 right?
  6. I didn't know where to write this, but it is technically still troubleshooting. So I built my new PC in September of last year. Specs are: Ryzen 5 5600G (with Arctic Freezer 34 esports duo) 16 GB DDR4 3600 Mhz RAM SATA 3.0. SSD WD Blue and HDD WD Black (also SATA 3.0.) Corsair rm750x PSU MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS MOBO MSI ventus 3x 3060 Ti (I found quite a good deal, btw) And because I built it around the time of Windows 11 launch, I immediately migrated with enthusiasm and I kinda liked the look of it too. But now I regret it hard (really hard). Because I think some games delievered much worse performance (some thoughts on Detroit: Become human, but not confirmed). And the one that hit me the hardest is Half-Life: Alyx. Everybody is saying of how good the optimization is and I had to do so much background work to even run somewhat decent on medium settings, but I still get noticeable stutters. I hit up oculus forums and we all came to the same conclusion: Windows 11. But even though my 10 day rollback period passed, I think I have a solution. And it is as follows: First, I buy GIGABYTE NVMe 256GB SSD (because my m.2 slot on my MOBO is free since I use SATA SSD) and install it in my computer. Aftewards, I install Windows 10, then I move my entire USR folder from Win11 installation to Windows 10 installation and replace all files (I will probably do it using some third OS, like linux so that windows does not get triggered for moving entire USR folder between two filesystems. And then I format my Windows 11 drive and done, I guess. This way, I will get better loading times, because m.2 interface is faster than SATA. I will also be able to transfer some games from my HDD to my SSD so that they load faster. I will also not lose any of my files (I mean I have most on my HDD, but some important stuff is still on that SSD). I just wanted to ask if it is possible to do this and also if those 30 bucks are worth it until Windows 11 becomes supported by both oculus and SteamVR.
  7. Gosh, stupid me. If I just looked more into into my 3DMark results (http://www.3dmark.com/spy/23052195) I would see that everything is alright, thanks for the advice though.
  8. So what should I use? I tried 3DMark but it only measures CPU performance
  9. I just don't get these results: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/46831501 It is my brand new PC that I built in september of this year, but I knew that Userbenchmark had a benchmark for all components for free, so I benchmarked it and these results seem kinda strange for a brand new PC. Just please tell me how to improve performance or is it just that Userbenchmark have people who just overclock everything (I am not too into overclocking, I rather have base clock with assurance that NOTHING can go wrong) or is it just that Userbenchmark is a shitty benchmark since I know about that drama with them favoring Intel CPUs in their testing against AMD. I also today upgraded to Windows 11, but these results came even before I upgraded and they were pretty similiar.
  10. UPDATE I have manager to open the laptop and it even has SSD slot (but it looks like m.2 for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth cards) So, my question (actually 2 questions) are: 1. Does SSD match to the interface that is present on HDDs for latptop (i think they are called 2.5 inch HDDs), so that I can buy regular SSD for sata and just put it there. 2. is that m.2 interface (it is near that sign where it says "SSD" and that ruler that I put there just to give you a rough consideration of how long it is and it is in metric cm, btw, not in imperial inches or whatever it is called) I know that I should post a completely new topic for this but still, I am too lazy xD
  11. Well, I'd like to do that, but somehow (I don't even know how) the plastic bottom shield of my laptop, which is supposed to just unscrew and remove is holding onto something from the inside and I am afraid that I will break that cover (because obviously, it is just plastic) and I really don't want to mess with that, because once I break it, I probably won't find replacement (because it is REALLY old) and leaving it without it is a really big risk (and even if it was not, I really dont want to do it). So, that makes any modifying not possible. So, yeah, but I will try somehow to remove it and I don't think that it will not hold up to some light games and just routine work. But replacing it with SSD is not a bad idea, actually. But I don't think I have m.2 slot so I will have to go with sata SSD which is not supposed to be in my build (because I am going to go with 2TB WD Black).
  12. Well, if my PC was good enough I would actually buy those modules right away, but the problem is that my PC is pretty much comparable to potato. Windows takes 1-2 minutes to even boot up, then in total I spend about 4 minutes to enter the desktop and after that waiting another 2 minutes to even load up discord and initiate steam. Then I launch a game (like payday 2 that is NOT so heavy on resources) and I get about 30 FPS if I am lucky and not playin g with friends, but normally I get around 20 FPS. Even that gmod is kinda laggy. To be exact my specs are: 1 TB WD hard drive Intel core i7-4780MQ nVidia GTX 760M with 2GB of VRAM (and iGPU from intel) 8 GB of DDR3 RAM and thats about it.... I am not saying that for a regular work such as sheets or docs it is not good, but it REALLY SUCKS in gaming and more so in loading up even windows. And sometimes it just freezes for a long time and I really had hard time to try not to throw it out of my window sometimes (xD) It is also reason why I want that new PC. I recently played entire half life series and I am really intrested in VR (also playing hlaf life: alyx for that reason). I am intrested in shaders and realistic graphics and wanting to play the latest and greatest AAA games. Also, before buying a game, I am concerned that my PC wont even run it (and then sometimes leading to me not buying that game at all or just leaving it in my library). And for that matter, I think I will continue using this computer for everything until it becomes unusable so I will have to throw it out and even before that happens I will probably already have that new build so yea. Thanks for helping me, btw, I wouldnt even figure out I have broken RAM and that would be an issue if I decided to sell it. So, yea, thanks :P.
