  1. But 2400g supported motherboard doesn't work with others due architecture issue ?
  2. Is it upgradable like if i just swap out the processor and the rest remains the same will it work
  3. @Little_Apprentice So I looked up in pc parts picker and AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor = 18800 INR MSI B450M PRO-M2 MAX Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard = 6898 INR (I am open to better boards without VGA ports ) Corsair Vengeance LPX 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory = 3573 INR Corsair CX (2017) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply = 3989 INR Seagate Maxtor Z1 SSD 240GB = 3150 INR Totaling to 36410 INR Now I am stuck with graphics card and if possible to a better board under the budget of 40K any suggestions ?
  4. Thank you for your reply Is this build up-gradable ? like i want to change to swap the chipset to a newer ryzen series is it possible ?(I have seen many forum posts that say zen/zen+ architecture mobos aren't compatible with latest one ) Also what abt integrated graphics ryzen 5 3400g and intel based processors?
  5. Budget (including currency): 35000 - 40000 INR ($463.55 - $529.77) Country: INDIA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly for programming, little bit of graphic designing Existing parts lists: Keyboard, mouse, VGA monitor, MicroATX case I am planning to build a budget PC but also future proof or up-gradable so i am confused between So can you suggest certain configurations with AMD with Integrated graphics (every option after 2400g ) and non-integrated one Intel : Is is better for value and work ? If yes then the above options HDMI enabled boards with availability of future upgrades (I can adjust VGA to HDMI Connector ) Graphics with minimum cost and max reliability (since I won't be using it for gaming and like really minimal graphic designing) and if viable second hand options available I am opting for HDD(7200 rpm) but if SSD options are available in this budget i am open to that too Any help is highly appreciated
  6. Yes a typo error 9400F I am intending this to buy from an area called Lammington Road in India where you can get parts at a subsidized rate more or less ali express. I did refer to Ali express but they do add shipping costs
  7. My initial post on budget build had informative opinions and on the following day I saw a ad with a store offering me i5 9400k under rs 30000($ 420) which didn't have any informative opinions So I am in between a Rock and a Hard Place on these builds : Ryzen 5 2400g with B450M PRO-M2 MAX /-VDH MAX , VENGEANCE LPX 16GB 2x8 kit (3000 mhz) ,Corsair CX450W with ssd (a handpicked build by me within $420 or rs 30000) or Ryzen 5 1600 with same motherboard, memory, ssd and PSU but no idea on GPU (pls suggest ) under or aprrox $435 (rs 32000) This build will be mainly used for app development, programming and probably light gaming Also this is an upgrade pc son i already have vga monitor etc so no chance of buying them
  8. I propose to build it for development purpose so I didn't think it would be unnecessary to add a GPU. Also I am trying to upgrade my existing PC (so not buying any monitors, keyboards etc) on tight budget of plus minus $400. So manually searched for specific parts via youtube videos and pc part picker etc and added them.
  9. Sorry I didn't get you If you're asking abt the build pls see the image posted above
  10. Did you the post above it ? That's what i was proposing to build. The second one was a ad that i saw on a local newspaper the entire build for 400$
  11. After getting great suggestions on my post : I was preparing myself to getting ready with the build when I saw an ad with specs i5 9400F H310 MSI / GIGABYTE 8 GB DDR4 RAM 1 TB HDD ZEBRONICS ATX cabinet GIGABYTE GT 710 GRAPHICS GIGABYTE keyboard and mouse LG 20" LCD all for rupees 30000( $ 420.03 ) I was baffled and did some research to find this post : My question is that is this build any better than my build given above ?
  12. But the Ryzen 5 2400g official support is 2933MHz so will 3000Mhz work without any problem?
  13. Thanks I will go for B450 and 450w But CAS and latency in VENGEANCE LPX 16GB 2x8 kit is C15 will it affect the speed in any manner ? I might to a very small percent convert this build for light gaming
  14. I am building a budget PC with Ryzen 5 2400g MSI B450M PRO-M2 MAX Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard OR Asus PRIME A320M-K Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (opt ) (opted for this since i have a vga cable monitor ) 2x8 kit RAM Seagate Maxtor 240 GB SSD or Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM PSU 450W or 550W (Corsair CX 2017 or better) Strictly under budget 30000Rs. ($422) Will install Linux OS so basically I will use this PC for running android studio and programming My questions are 1) In case i want to upgrade the CPU to a 3gen is the motherboard viable ? 2) Confused btw 2133, 2400, 3000, 3200 Mhz RAM selection and CAS latency (referred to VENGEANCE LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM where 2133 has C13 2400 has C14 so on ) so any suggestions ? (also referred to post 3)PSU 450 W or 550W ?(I am going for 550w but still ) Thanks in advanced
