  6. Hi guys! I am looking to upgrade an old Acer Aspire M3900 to the point where it can play basic games such as CS:GO, OW, etc. My main interest is FPS games. My budget is around 400-500USD. I thought this would be a good opportunity to get started with PC-building, and perhaps save a few bucks in the process, but I have no idea how feasible it is with the components I have. Old Components: - Intel Pentium E5800 3.2GHz processor - 4 GB DDR3 RAM - Acer EG43M motherboard - NVIDIA GeForce 405 graphics card - dps-300ab-39c power supply, delivering 300W I know that i can upgrade the ram to 8 GB, but with regards to processor and graphics card I am lost, and can't figure out what would be compatible. Furthermore, the motherboard has one PCI-expressx16 2.0 slot, and I heard it can lead to issues with 3.0 cards. And lastly I am unsure that the power supply can power a modern card and processor. Is this a bad idea, or can it be done? Cheers!
