I'm in the same exact boat as you, same card, and same response from Gigabyte, they act like it's a state secret that will topple Communism or something. Gigabyte USA literally told me they don't know what the thickness is, which is complete BS.

I know this is an old post but JESUS are you trying to kill your CPU? On my 3900X under max load OCed to 4.3Ghz I've gone no higher then 70 degrees with a 240mm AIO.

I have this same board with the same CPU and have 16gb of ddr4 3000, I am planning on upgrading my RAM to 3600mhz but MSI's website is unclear on if its compatible, does anyone know if it will be compatible? I'm planning on getting 16gb of Corsair Vengeance LPX ddr4 3600.
