  1. Yeah I already have that board. With a 1600af oced to 4.1 ghz llc4 1.28 volts. With...3600c17 ram (tightttt) timings. And a 2tb nvme with a few 500tb ssd
  2. So it wouldn be wise to use the msi x570 mpg gaming wifi edge with a 3700x overclocked? On ambient cooling for vrm and aio for cpu?
  3. (edit) been running the hyper x kit since February 2020 without issues, just wanted tighter timings and b die until now...im not using the bdie kit lol) old or not just thought id share some light on the 1600AF CPU, as i have currently a set of hyper x KHX3466C16D4/8GX 2x8 sticks 3466 mhz, which i used dram calc to tighten the timings although it doesn't have j die hynix period. which is what my set is, have some b die vengeance lpx 3600mhz ram but its HORRIBLE and will not boot at 3600 even tho using memory try it on the hyperx kit at 3800mhz it'll boot and if i loosen the main timings a bit no errors with a 16hr stress test. so to anyone still curious to what the max ram is, you simply get lucky or dont. and i can say i have two different Hynix kits that this CPU loves to death. but it despises b-die for whatever reason (perhaps the LPX) kit isn't tuned for Ryzen like it claims which is what shows on a supported list on corsairs website. although the listing said it did. i did however use the sub timings from the 3333 MHz profile on the LPX ram and checked the 3333 memory try it (or whatever was closest) and tried to get as close to it as i could with sub timings for 3400 on the lpx kit and got it booting but needless to say ill post aida shots of the benchs with each kit...first is hyperX second is LPX or which ever is 3466 is the hyper X idk how it'll show on here.
  4. You remember quite well dont cut yourself short. I was paranoid I had gotten the old version but after some pics and digging around on here quickly found out it wasnt. But it wasnt a focus + like I had ordered from amazon either. None the less, point I'm making is, shits supposedly more power efficient yet wants more power. With 10 120mm rgb 2000rpm fans, 240mm ek aio, 2tb adata nvme, 2x500 GB wdblue ssd, 2x1tb wd blue hdd, 3466 cl16 ram ect ect, I'd rather be safe for a few years to come.. I forgot the 5 led strips on my case plus the one inside itself. Unsure my power draw on total usage atm but I still disagree that it was a bad choice. Perhaps I wish to run a server on top of my system needless to say its covered wouldnt it be?
  5. This is not something that shud be normal. I had this issue on my viewsonic vx2458-c-mhd and fixed it with cru. I'm here trying to see if there is a fix for the monitor in discussion that you guys are speaking of. Currently walking someone thru the steps I took over youtube isnt something I'd reccomend. But this is non existant on my viewsonic now after changing a few values and yes gsync and free sync still work fine without flickers at low fps.
  6. although our convo has been months back, with the new launch of 3000 series graphics cards coming out and speculation on how psu might be in for a treat on powering those, you still suggest my purchase wasnt a good one?
  7. so, for me having an r5 1600AF @ 4.1ghz 1.33volts llc4, with an xfx ddultra 5700 flashed bios, with the ten fans, an led strip the 3.3v rail is fine?? and i dont understand how a kilowatt meter would make it drop or read more inaccurate?? lots to learn from my end..
  8. aiming to get a voltage meter that plugs in. cant remember the name atm and to lazy to google search it. but considering my 650watt coolermaster does the same thing on the 3.3v rail i was curious... but anyhow the cpu fan at 2000rpm is an aio...pretty silent even with 10 120mm fans and a 140mm in the back...in the enermax adv case...
  9. is this normal with that 1000 watt psu we discussed was overkill a month ago?? the 3.3V rail???? hw info says the same thing...
  10. anyhow fellas im very appreciative all the help, but i gotta hang this tv on the wall, pull some base board from the wall, set up my nail gun, cut some...well yea and trace down these old wires in the attic to update it to code so i dont have an open ground circuit anymore. i wouldnt have bothered anyone if this lineup on seasonics power supplies weren't so confusing.
  11. sebray adv i have 7 ina mid tower now. push pull for aio 2 on top 1 at the back. 7 total. the adv has way more space. 3 can be used to blow towards the powersupply.
  12. the reason i said driver is bc since the new amd driver release for navi hit my psu is no longer hitting under 12 or under 3.3 12volt was 11.8ish and 3.3 was 3.28 yea still within spec but like i said the houses wiring isnt up to code. unless i didnt say it. i did now.
  13. with 10 120mm fans, the af @ 4.1 ghz, 3466 ram, an aio, ect ect...650...? what good are these ignorant calculators on all these brands websites if they over rate the system???? i can build i system but man o man do i got alot to learn about how power usage under max load ect works....
  14. so the power supply i had was fine then........ more or less driver issue is why i had crashes......
  15. ok thanks for your time. btw one last thing, what would you have recommended the power usage total wattage needed for me to buy? no names just wattage??
