My college provides us with a WiFi service that only works with one device(they had asked for the MAC address of the device to be registered). I've registered my phone but recently I got a PC but I cant use the internet on it as there is no wifi adaptor installed in my PC. I used to connect my phone to the pc and turn on USB tethering to provide the computer with internet. The wifi connectivity is poor in my room so i bought a router to fix it and use it as a repeater. I need help as I'm able to connect the router to my dorm/college's WiFi but the connected devices go to my college's intranet website. I tried to mask the MAC of the router but it keeps resetting back to its default whenever repeater mode is on. Need suggestions on what can i do?

Updates:In train kept the PC as follows The box contains Cabinet, Processor, Motherboard and the SSD Rest of the component are kept in the red bag!

Thanks for everyone's suggestions This is how I've packed my rig: (For some reason there was no bubblewrap available at any place ) Used some leftover styrofoam to pack the GPU.(image #2) Packed the RAM in its box Left the motherboard,processor and SSD intact in the cabinet and packed it in the cabinet's box. Packed the PSU in it's own box Packed the HDD in a anti static bag and wrapped it with a puffed jacket.(image #1) Also I'll be carrying the PC not keeping it as a luggage

I'm moving out! So I'm traveling by train... It's a 18 hour journey, I was wondering how should I pack my PC. I need suggestions to pack and travel it along safely. As of now I'm thinking of removing RAM,GPU,PSU and HDD from the cabinet and keep the motherboard, Processor and SSD inside the case. I have all the original boxes and ample amount of bubblewrap. The spec of the PC which needs to be carried: Ryzen 5 3600 Gigabyte A320M-H 8GB Corsair Vengeance 3000Mhz Zotac Gaming 1660 Super Twin(not the AMP) 1 TB HDD 240 GB SSD Corsair VS550 Antec NX200
