  1. Hey there LTT peoples! I recently decided to try Pop_OS beacuse LTT did a video on it and I want to get away from windows. Install went great, but for some reason the microphone on my headset does not show up! In Pulse Audio, it is not there. I in alsa device list it shows there are two devies but for one there is 0/1 sub device. The headset is a HyperX Alpha S. I would hate to not try Linux because my headset of all things is not compatible. Cheers!
  2. Put the LTT background through autopaint in corel. Honestly I think it looks pretty good.
  3. Thanks! It returned no warnings so I will go ahead and override smartscreen.
  4. Thanks, I'll if that does the same warning, I'll probably just override smartscreen.
  5. I would look at task manager and see if your cpu is being maxed out. If not then upgrading could help, but if it is upgrading most likely won't make a diffrence.
  6. Hi, I have a zotac card and was installing firestorm. For some reason, windows smart scree is blocking it.l can override it, I just want to make sure I'm not installing a virus. Is this the official zotac site? https://www.zotac.com/page/firestorm
  7. Hi guys, I was trying to download reinstall a program called pritunl for my VPN, and for some reason window has blocked the download and given me a smartscreen error saying it could potentially cause harm bla bla bla. Should I just ignore the warnings? I am just a security freak and want to make sure I'm not downloading a Trojan or some other internet garbage.
  8. Try using a utility called Display Driver Uninstaller. That will basically uninstall the driver so that you can do a clean install. Here is a forum on the topic and the use of the program Good Luck!
  9. Okay, try installing the Radeon software through their web page and install the driver from that. Also did the Radeon software and driver install complete in the first place?
  10. Hey, the issue could be the driver, does your cpu have integrated graphics or is the graphics card output still usable for troubleshooting?
  11. I would go for 1. Cheaper and better hardware, and don't worry about the chipsets, they are both very new.
  12. I would highly recommend a Think Pad. They have excellent construction and their keyboards are amazing. For the specs that you would want, I'm thinking a X1 Extreme. I personally use a Thinkpad L390 Yoga and love it. One of my friends owns the X1 Extreme and loves it. The price is high, but it will last. I'm not a expert on the lower price range so sorry for not being able to provide a better recommendation.
