  1. I appreciate the advice guys. Looks like I have a redo day ahead of me lol
  2. Thanks and yes I'm with ya. No clue how to manage all that craziness to be honest
  3. Haha that is one thing I plan on upgrading in 2020. Although I just recently bought every part new and I'm pretty happy with it so far! Surprisingly I haven't found a game that showed low frame rates yet. Yes, I know it'll happen soon enough
  4. I bought this GPU support for $20, only to realize that my extra ssd's installed on the bottom are right in the way. <Fail>
  5. Can I borrow your GPU?
  6. My first build! Very excited to have my own rig that I can upgrade and learn so much from. 7. Thanks guys, so adding the same 2 sticks will add memory size, but not increase memory speed or bandwidth, correct?
  8. Hello, I have recently built a gaming desktop with the following hardware: MSI MPG z390 gaming edge AC Intel i7 9700k 3.6ghz Corsair dominator platinum 3200mhz (2x8 gb) EVGA geforce gtx 1660 cc EVGA 850w 80+ gold Corsair h100i platinum Lian LI 011 razer case My question is: If I have 2 dual channel (above) ram sticks installed, could I purchase the same exact 2 sticks again in order to have a 4 dual channel ram setup? I understand I have plenty of ram, but I intend on using Adobe CC heavily in the near future.
  9. Sounds good @Mick Naughty This is why I like forums, ya can't just google all of that too easily. I wish it wasn't the equivalent of 2 months of rent for a 1440 ultra wide 1 ms lol.
  10. A monitor sounds like a solid upgrade to begin. I believe I'll go with something at least 30"+ and 144hz. As far as games, I play a bit of a variety- Borderlands 3 Starcraft 2 Warcraft 3 Skyrim Dota 2 Smite League of Legends Looking forward to Diablo 4 and playing the Halo Master Chief collection on PC as well. I know these games aren't exactly demanding. I can play Borderlands 3 on "Badass" settings and still get ~60 FPS. I'm assuming I will need a nice monitor and GPU upgrade in the next year or 2. (Assuming games become more demanding instead of appealing to the masses) What kind of monitors do you gamers use ? I love my monitor, but I know I'm not getting the best visuals from it. I'll most likely use a new monitor as my main display and have my Phillips monitor mounted above it. (Just to be overkill of course)
  11. Thank you everyone! Believe it or not, I had a hard time finding much detail about my 1660 XC online. Having this solved, I have a Phillips 32" curved monitor 1920x1080@60hz. Should I upgrade this monitor before I look into changing graphics cards? I have heard from friends that my monitor would be the bottleneck for my system (graphics). I purchased this monitor thinking it was decent for gaming. (I'm a noob)
