You mean instead of hard drives? I need lot's of storage, so this wouldn't be cost effective..

Hi everyone, I am building my first PC, here are two PCPartPicker lists of parts that I chose to use in it. The system is going to be used mostly for video editing in DaVinci Resolve and audio production in Live 10. I might do some light gaming in the future, but I am not sure. (maybe some Minecraft or Rainbow Six Siege) I am planing to use a 4K 27 inch monitor, if i will start gaming i will probably buy a 144 Hz monitor in the future. I will run Windows and probably Linux, not sure if on a virtual machine or with dual boot (what would be better?) Here are the things I am not shure about: - is software raid worth it, if i use two toshiba 5TB disks in raid 1? - I will have 1 500 GB nvme SSD my boot drive and for programs, I am choosing between the Sabrent Rocket and Samsung 970 pro. (I am leaning towards the Sabrent drive, because I think that i don't need the extra performance and endurance of the Samsung drive, and I also think it is kind of overpriced.) - which fans are quieter, Corsair ML pro or Noctua industrial? - which cooler is quieter, Noctua NH-D15 or NZXT Kraken X63? I know I chose a SFX power supply, I will need it in the future so no need to change there. Thank you for help in advance and sorry for the bad English. :D

I am looking for redundancy. I was thinking maybe raid 1 with 2 2tb HDD's? I will have a samsung 860 as an editing drive, 970 will be a boot drive for the OS and all installed programs.

I am trying to find the cheapest option for a 4K IPS 32 inch display (or a 27 inch). I am looking for at least an 8 bit panel, a 10 bit would be nice to have. Any do you have any recommendations?

I am going to build my first workstation soon and I am wondering, which raid has the best price to performance? Also, is it worth it to go for a Samsung pro drive or are standard evo nvme ssd's better price to performance?

Hi everyone, I am going to build my first ever PC soon. I am going to use it mostly as a workstation (for Resolve studio, Krita, Cinema 4D and similar programs), I might game on it, but it isn't a priority. I've made 2 lists of the possible build on PC Part Picker. My budget is around 1700€. I partially care about the aesthetics, so both builds are themed. I mostly care about the performance in Resolve and the system being as quiet as possible.
