Hello everyone. I'm new here, and this is my first post. I've browsed many of the existing topics and saw a lot of good recommendations for people's specific situations, but I'm hoping for some experienced folks to chime in with input. Especially after watching Linus crown about 37 "best" monitors over the last 2 years that I've watched. So, if you can, help me spend my money. My budget is about $500 for a straight purchase, and about $160/mo using Amazon's Monthly Payment program. Previously, I had a 2014 40" LG 4K TV that I was running as my monitor and recently decided to upgrade after getting fed up with the ghosting blur. I tried the Monoprice Zero-G 35" Ultra Wide and promptly returned it due to it's horrible blur, and very bad BLB. I'm considering several different models and sizes, but can't put my finger on a "best" one. I've looked at the Acer Predator Z35P, X34 and am open to any 34"/35" 21:9, as well as 32" 16:9's like the LG 32GK650G-B, Viotek GN32DB and MSI Optix MAG321CQR. I even considered another TV in the LG 43UM7300PUA (RTINGS Review linked) which is regarded as a good performer for gaming, lacking any Sync technology and 60hz refresh, especially since I can move all the way up to 65" in that model. I'm absolutely open to any suggestions, so here's my scenario:
Prefer largest format possible, 32"+
Used predominately for gaming.
I care more about the least amount of motion blur, flicker, and BLB than anything else.
Powered by a RTX 2070 Super
G-Sync combatible preferred
I game in a fairly dark setting
Contrast Ratio over Color Accuracy
Located in the US
I'm not asking anyone to "do the work" for me, I'm just hoping someone has some input I hadn't thought of or confirms something I've already considered. Try not to roast me too hard, haha.
