  1. I assume you mean my monitor? As part of my trouble shooting I did remove my GPU and connect my monitor to the onboard HDMI but still no joy.
  2. Hi Valkyrie I checked before buying that both my CPU & RAM are supported out of the box with no BIOS upgrade needed.
  3. Hi All, can anybody help? I just recieved a upgrade to my Z170, an Asus Z270 Prime-A but I cannot get it to post. I took my i7-7700 & 16Gb of DDR4 Ram (Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2666) out of my Z170 and loaded up the Z270 but as soon as I switch the PSU on the board switches on by itself. CPU Fan comes on, GPU Fans go to max and the onboard lighting comes on but no post & keyboard / mouse do not light up. Also my other case fans didnt spin up either. I tried all the usual tricks, in the end i tried to boot with no GPU, only 1 RAM stick in (tried all 4 slots 1 at a time), no front panel connectors in, no front usb or front audio but same result. There is a some onboard LED Indicators but all that ever lit up was the power LED, I heard no beeps at all and even when I tried it with no RAM in I didnt get a error light or beep. Both 24pin & 8pin were in fully (checked 3 times to be sure) In the end I took all the parts out and put them back into by Z170 to make sure everything was still working and to my relief they were. I inspected for any bent pins ont he CPU socket but could see any. Any help would be great. Thanks
  4. I had a look in the BIOS last night but there is no option to change the fans from PWM or DC. Any other ideas or is it just a limitation of the board?
  5. Thanks, I will have a look when i get home in a few hours and let you know. Cheers
  6. Not sure to be honest. Would this be in the BIOS or Gigabyte Control software?
  7. Hi All Im currently using several ML120 fans (Blue) in my rig but for some reason the brightness of the LEDs is tied to the speed of the fans. They are obviously set to low most of the time when the system is not under load and as such the LEDs are quite dim. They are 4 Pin Fans plugged into 4 Pin Headers. Is there any way to get the LEDs to stay on full brightness while maintainng a low fan speed? I have a custon fan curve set through the gigabyte software but the LEDs have always had the behaviour. Thanks
