  1. @Plouffe I'd prefer to stick with a 650w PSU, and the CX 2017 version is a bit higher. I was advised against going MSI for the motherboard, due to higher failure rates. Do you know if that one's okay? Similar with the video card, based off the tier list, unless the 8GB is a big enough upgrade? @Tittilicious I'm a ways away in Ontario, thanks for the offer though
  2. Hey guys. I'm looking to build an entry level gaming PC, taking advantage of Black Friday and/or Cyber Monday deals. My budget is $700 before tax and shipping, and I'm in Canada. I don't need a monitor, or any peripherals. Preferably limited to Amazon, Newegg, and Canada Computers (a good enough sale, and I'll look at others as well). This is the closest I've been able to put together on PCPartPicker. PCPartPicker Part List: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/pFhY9G CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($145.99 @ Amazon Canada) Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 AORUS ELITE ATX AM4 Motherboard ($129.99 @ Amazon Canada) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($79.98 @ Amazon Canada) Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($79.98 @ Amazon Canada) Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon RX 570 4 GB Gaming 4G Video Card ($169.00 @ Canada Computers) Case: Rosewill NAUTILUS ATX Mid Tower Case ($40.99 @ Amazon Canada) Power Supply: Corsair CXM 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply ($79.98 @ Amazon Canada) Total: $725.91 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-11-28 10:01 EST-0500 I was hoping to be able to get the 3600, but then a video card would be out of the question? Secondary storage, better cooling (if needed), will come later. For case, mainly just don't want glass. And the rest, leaning towards reliability/longevity as much as possible. Here is my PCPartPicker, with a few builds and a bunch of parts favourited that I'm keeping an eye on. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Kytheon/ Comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
